“Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wohl. La Gabarie ist ein Paradis, welches wir wärmstens empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und funktionell eingerichtet, es hat nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeber sind ganz wunderbar, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir wurden wie gute Freunde empfangen. Das Frühstück ist ganz hervorragend und wir haben den tollen Swimmingpool benutzen können. Gerne kommen wir wieder!”

“This is a charming and elegant facility with a friendly, helpful proprietor who went out of his way to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay. A couple with two to four children would feel like a royal family here. Low-to-the-floor beds and lack of adequate storage space were a bit awkward for two older ladies in what would be the children's room. All in all, a delightful experience.”

“We were very pleased to stay at Le Noyer Résidence on our first trip to the Dordogne. The location is less than 10 minutes via car to the center of Le Bugue and about the same to several nearby villages. We had a beautiful and spacious stand-alone room, that was very well decorated and fresh, and the shower was amazing. Our hosts Warda and Alex were perfectly charming and so very accommodating. “Staying at a castle is an adventure in and of itself. The owners/our hosts Don and Jennifer, are a delightful young couple who have restored the castle and have been there the past 3 years. Very helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The view was terrific and we had great fun enjoying a nighttime bonfire under a canopy of brilliant stars. We had a terrific dinner prepared by a French chef, Jean Claude and even went to the market in the morning with him and Don to pick out...
