Comfortable stay and writhing walkable distance to everything. Pillows were little tricky apart from that all else was perfect. Recommended for families. Breakfast is really good too.

Wonderful stay

Very good experience during our stay at the Grinderwalderhof. I had access to my room even arriving earlier than informed. The parking at the hotel was very convenient. The staff was friendly and gave precise information about the local transportation and places to visit. Very good breakfast. View wonderful from balcony.

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. We had an apartment just off the main building with a private bedroom, a large bed, and a single bed in the living area. The kitchenette was well-equipped for simple meals. Breakfast was excellent — fresh breads and great coffee — and there’s always hot coffee available downstairs. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Location is perfect: about a 10-minute walk from the main station, 5 minutes to Grindelwald First, and a grocery store right below. The furniture and key system are a bit dated, but overall, I loved my stay and would happily return.

Great stay in grindelwald

Hotel was really nice, comfortable. Location was perfect. View was amazing. The street can be loud but with the windows closed you couldn’t hear anything. Included breakfast was very good. Staff was very nice and helpful.

A little pricy for this 3 star hotel

Location from train station is close to 15 mins walk while pushing the luggage, however, it’s very near to Grindelwald First. Reception leaves by 9pm so if you need anything, no one is around to help. The housekeeping forgot to leave packets of body soap/ shampoo after cleaning our room. Breakfast is good though.

My wife and two kids stayed here for 1 night and had a great experience. The two Italian girls working the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Our room was beautful with views of the Swiss Alps. I which we could have stayed here longer.

Manager was very kind and full of hospitality! The second day we got back to the hotel after a long hike, and found that our room hadn't been cleand yet. We told this fact to the manager that staff forgot to make up our room. Then, amazingly, he didn't ask the staff to do it, he started cleaning himself and finished it properly. He was also very nice. He introduced us good restaurant and gave us lots of valuable information. And breakfast was also very good. I strongly reccomend this hotel.

Atendimento excelente por parte de Donato. Café da manhã simples, mas bem saboroso. A limpeza do quarto é satisfatória, porém, quando chegamos, verificamos que o frigobar continha produtos que haviam sido deixados por hóspedes anteriores. A vista da nossa varanda para a montanha era incrível e, por si só, ja pagava a hospedagem.
