"Beautiful hotel and very friendly, helpful staff. You are paying for the overall hotel and views vs the room itself. The classic room is pretty lacklustre and feels like a cheap hotel. The rest of the hotel is quite lovely. The pool is excellent and we enjoyed dining at the restaurant and bar area. The beach club is also lovely, though we were surprised it wasn’t private for only hotel guests. It was extremely busy when we were here due to a local holiday. The towns in Monte Argentario are not very cute in comparison to other Italian towns. So you are mainly choosing this for the views of the coastline and to enjoy the hotel."
