The property is on a busy district and so very convenient to get around. Bejing Road is a walkable street, I just love it. However, taking the elevators is a challenge. Long-wait is the norm. The facility in our unit is dated and needs upgrading and major improvement.

Great property, family of 6 staying, the location on google maps is not correct, but you could say the same for most of china maps (its offset). Apartment was spacious and had great amenities including your own washing machine. The hot water for the shower isnt unlimited so read the instructions. Elevator is the main gripe, use the cargo elevators opposite the main elevators (near the stairs) and dont go during peak times. You have to wait quite a long time when it gets busy as some of the lifts dont stop at all the floors. Location is amazing, great views, great food options to the west, shopping centre downstairs and close by (Guangbai Supermarket). Starbucks downstairs. The nearest metro is Beijing Road Line 6, easy walk South through Tee Mall. Or you can walk north west to Line 1.

Very good stay, the location is excellent for food, sight seeing, and access to public transportation such as subway and buses. It is also very easy to get to from Guangzhou East high-speed rail station, the taxi ride from there cost about 30 RMB only. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Guangzhou!!

Spacious and clean
The place is inside of the mall which was great. There was a Minso and Starbucks and tons of restaurants. It was full on Game of thrones for those elevators though. The room was spacious and clean and the highlight of my trip was the washing machine which was also a drier. Blew my mind

This property is on the 14th floor of an 40+ stories office building. There are a few other similar apartment hotel in the building and most of the guests are non-Chinese, mostly Middle East and Southeast Asia. This property is the best option for 3 days plus stay since it has washer/dryer in the room. Our room is very spacious and felt like being home with all the adequate furniture. You cannot find a better location than in Beijing Road. There are tremendous amount of local street food and Chinese restaurants around the building. There is a department store, a very nice dim sum restaurant, beauty store, and last but not least, Starbucks in this building, as well as a huge super market. I had no problem checking in and out of the property since i can speak Chinese. The hotel staffs do speak English and i didnt see any communication problems between foreign guests and hotel guests while i was at the lobby room.

Nice but mislocated description
The description from hotels.com is not correct. This place is about a 20 min walk from GongYuanQian Station and not located near the station. Also, the building has many management offices. Pay attention to which floor to go to in order to check in. We had difficulty finding the place. Price was more expensive than if you found this place via local sites. Otherwise this place was spacious.

Not suitable for family stay.
My family does not enjoy the stay at all for the following reasons: 1) The room and toilet are pretty old, many of their facility are old and rusty, eg: the rubber stopper to the toilet door is missing and what is left is a rusty metal nail that is prone to injury. I almost get cut by these metal nail. 2) Cockroaches is a common sight in the toilet and the front door of the room. 3) Although it’s a non smoking room, the room had a very strong cigarette smell. 4) Pillows and bathroom towels are not clean and it that cigarette smell too.

An apartment that is very near to everything
The location of the apartment is very near to everything - metro stations, shopping, and food. Check in process was quick and required a refundable deposit of RMB500. The room was clean and fairly well maintained. Everything worked fine in the room. The only thing that was not working too well was the lift. Needed to wait for a long time for the life especially during peak hours. Also, the main entrance has a rather bad sewage smell. Overall, my family had a pleasant stay at the apartment.

It's OK condition but it's not a hotel.
The overall condition is good. But from Expedia's map, I thought it was just next to the Subway station. It actually is 15 minutes walking distance and there is no obvious signage to show this is the hotel apartment. It took me 10 minutes to figure out I need to check in at 14th floor. It's actually my first time to stay in such kind, so hard to compare. But the lifts are so busy, 5-10 minutes waiting to go up and down. (twenty odd floors, even thought there are 8 lifts). I asked for NON-Smoking room but in fact people just smoke in there anyway. I can tell from the smell, burn marks on the bedside table and cigarette butts in the bathroom.

Smokers' hotel
The staff were nice and helpful. The main complaints I have about the hotel is the smell. There were people smoking in the hallway, and the smell gets everywhere. People who are sensitive to smoke smell should be aware before booking.

Convenient Location
It was a spacious room and the location of the apartment is very convenient for us. Wifi connectivity was good. The staffs were very friendly though we had a language barrier but a translating app comes in handy! There are many convenient stores around and the shopping street is just around the corner. 7-11, Starbucks, Watsons and Miniso is just downstairs (: On a side note, I would have given a better rating if not for the small cockroaches everywhere. We checked in during very early in the morning and went out at noon. When we came back, the roaches were everywhere. We did not leave any opened food items behind and all the trash bins had been emptied before we left. I really do hope the management will look into this as it causes discomfort to anyone staying in the room. That aside, everything else was really good (:

Requested for no room cleaning only for first night over the phone as we couldn’t find room cleaning door tags. Subsequent few days had to call in everyday as the room was totally not cleaned until my last day. Otherwise a really comfortable and convenient location

Right in the heart of shopping and eateries
Extremely convenient. Lots of shopping and eateries. Lifts are a bit slow as many people are using the lifts, which includes office workers, shoppers, dinners and apartment guests. But waiting time for the lift is still bearable. Less than 15 minutes walking distance to subway stations. Not that far as mentioned by other travellers. Some of the comments by travellers are a bit exaggerating, as in hotel staff being rude and uncooperative. Not for us though. Maybe it's because we do speak Mandarin and Cantonese, hence communication was a breeze. We did observed other travellers that could only communicate in English. The hotel staff were still accommodating and conversed politely in sparsely English. That went well too. Would be making another trip to Guangzhou as there are really too many shopping and eateries that we have yet to explore. And would definitely stay in this apartment once more.

Great location, but hard to find.
We stayed here for 1 night only and found the place with much difficulty. It's buried in a complex that had no signage out the front. Other then that difficult start it was a pretty good overall experience. The locality to all things shopping, food, and transport couldn't be easier. After reading the reviews previously I was a little worried, but it was all good. The bed was a little hard, and pillows a little soft, but it had everything you could want. We will definitely be staying again, the lift takes its time due to work load, but hey we are all on holidays so what's the rush right?

Photos are better, but was still better than most
I have stayed at this hotel a second time. The photos are a lot more new and lovely compared to real life. Real life is a lot older. However, for the price and in this neighborhood in Guangzhou, this is already a good place to stay at. The beds are very clean, but very hard. The washroom doesn't have any odd stains, but it just looks very old and the shower doesn't drain well. I highly recommend bringing slipped to wear in the shower and cleaning everything with Lysol wipes before use. I also recommend bringing your own towels - they provide you with some, but they just feel very thin and not very clean, this could be due to the humidity and people smoking and cooking around the whole floor. The AC works well. The front desk understands English. It is in a VERY convenient location on Beijing Road, and there is a lot of food around and a Watsons, Starbucks, and grocery store downstairs. The connecting building also has a lot of great good. I see many people from out of town stay at this hotel.

The locations is excellent. Room is huge but not clean at all.

Terrible stay
It is a service apartment. The whole building has 3 or more management companies. Hakka is only one of them and their front desk is at Rm 1407. We went into the building and found a front desk on ground floor but that is just another management companies. We asked that company and of course they don't willing to tell you where I can locate Hakka front desk. I ended up asking the security guard and he was very rude. Our first impression to this accommodation was bad. We're finally able to locate Hakka. Check in was acceptable but we couldn't get all 3 rooms on the same floor. Elevators were terrible. I read this comments on hotels.com and finally understand why. Only 3 out of 6 elevators are in service during peak hours but the whole building has 20+ floor and each floor has 20+ rooms. Some guests are not considerate and will smoke in floor lobby. For the $1200 price I gave, I won't stay here again for sure.

The life is always full
Location is great , restaurant at 7-8 floor. Only disappointment is the lift. We waited half an hour for the lift and it is always full. There is three lift but only one lift is working .

Clean hotel / apartment with good location
Clean room. Nice loft type design and spacious. Near shops, restaurants and train stations. Good location. But initially hard to find.

Best Location!
Best Location! In Beijing Road, easy access by Metro LRT or Bus. lot of restaurants to choose from, shopping malls around, place of interest just walking distance. Just have to be patient to wait for the lift, lot's of peoples stay here with 6 lifts to services 31 floors.

Nice but no heat inside!
There is no heating system in the apartments. We stayed there 3 nights and it was nearly freezing inside. We asked for extra blankets but they were all taken already! The water heater is very small and low capacity, so after 5 minutes of running hot water, it gets cold. Gotta learn to conserve to make ur shower last !!!

Dear guests: how do you do? First of all, thank you for staying in our apartment. Our water heater is fully automatic and intelligent, with three gears; we will adjust it according to the change of weather temperature in the four seasons; when the temperature reaches the preset temperature, the water heater will keep warm intelligently; but if the water heater is transferred to another mode, the effect of heat preservation will change at the same time. So when guests report that the hot water temperature is insufficient, most of the modes have been transferred, our apartment provides 24-hour service, as long as there are any problems in the room, we will immediately have the staff to help solve the problem.
