"Great facility, close to everything in Nosara/Garza. Comfortable and spacious with great AC in the Casitas. Yoga deck was great up many steps with an amazing view right next to the pool. Mat room and gym facilities looked fantastic and a shared kitchen area would be very convenient. Great place for Nomad workers with strong WiFi, and peace & quiet. "

"Great overall just one really inconvenient thing was that for our 3 night stay we had to change room every single day which was a hassle and forced us to be at the property to do the moving every day at 1pm when we could have been at the beach or in town. "

"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. "Staying at Hacienda Barrigona was like a dream. The property is beautiful and well tended. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. The beach looked like a postcard. The meals were delicious and prepared with great care. But it's the people that make Hacienda Barrigona so special. Lyna and the whole staff were kind, attentive, friendly and helpful. "
