“Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again. ”

“Just stayed here last week very easy to find plenty parking. Check in straight forward the young man very friendly. Some minor faults with rooms. We had 2 rooms . Both kettles in rooms had bad limescale so never used them .the teabags looked like they had just been thrown in a pile on the dresser Bathroom towel instead of being white had a massive blue stain on .bed sheet was dirty. .you could hear the traffic outside but to be expected as on main road. “Lovely place, very well run, really nice food”

“Was very disappointed with the cleanliness of not just the hotel but the pub attached also. The toilets in the pub were disgusting, with no hand soap the whole 4 days of our stay. The whole place looked very worn & tired. I have know idea how on earth it’s classed as 4 stars as I would say it’s 2 at the most. How any one can rate it excellent is beyond me as it’s not even a great location! Will definitely not stay here again or consider using a Marstons inn again.”
