"I loved the retro vibe of the Golden Host. The front desk staff were friendly and got us checked in quickly. Parking close to our room was easy, however the parking lot is kind of confusing. The room was well equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was clean but you can see the age of the building here and there. The floor was peeling up in spots and there were areas of drywall that could use some work. Didn’t really bother me but notable. The AC was cold and worked well. The bed was a little too soft for my liking but others may find it comfortable. There was tons of storage space if needed. The bathroom was small but clean. At night we could hear kids running and yelling up and down the corridors but not the fault of the hotel. The pool area was nice, we unfortunately didn’t have a chance to enjoy it. Overall for the price I think this is a fine place to stay for a few nights if visiting the area. It’s close to many of the attractions."

"We had an excellent stay! We loved having a water view when we woke up. The beach was maintained and gorgeous! My little kids had never been to the beach and this stay was perfect for their first experience! Wonderful memories were made!"

"Staff was extremely helpful. The carpets were kind of filthy and could use the good vacuuming, especially in front of the doors to the rooms and the tables could’ve been wiped off a little better in the rooms and the shower had a little black mold around the bottom, other than that, the place was fantastic. Perfect Location I’m sure it’s just because the quick turnaround they can’t get everything exactly perfect would definitely recommend and will definitely stay there again"
