"The room was front facing with a lovely view 👍.. We really enjoyed a little break at the hotel , it has plenty of downstairs sitting space & the grounds outside was huge .. Special thanks to " Simon " who was working on reception & in the bar , for the friendly , and professional service.. Also to the lovely lady from housekeeping, who knocked on the door on second morning to see if we needed anything at all. It was much appreciated.. As a grand old house, there are obviously renovations the hotel said they'll get to whenever they can , but this didn't detract from our little stay , at all.. We would definitely stay there again 👍 "

"Stayed at the lodge and surprisingly roomy. Bright and well laid out accommodation. Good en suite and great views from the windows. All round, very comfortable and would definitely stay here again."

"We had a upgrade to the one of the superior accessible rooms which were outside. It was so huge, plenty of places to sit, bed was humongous. The wet room was massive, it was a really great room and we were really happy. "

"We were disappointed to arrive to find the caravan had not been cleaned which made the dated decor and smell of the caravan seem even worse We contacted the owner and he arranged for it to be cleaned which meant we were unable to access the caravan until 5pm after a 51/2 hour journey to get there We only used the caravan to sleep in and having stayed on similar sites before I felt having to provide your own bedding and towels another expense We had friends staying on the site and had paid less for a new lodge than what we paid for this caravan The caravan was also very cold at night so needed extra the extra duvets It served its purpose for our trip to Skegness but will be booking directly through park Dean next time "
