No microwave...told not with standard must get deluxe..gave us a toaster but no knife or plate...bathroom tiles never seen a scrubbing brush..aircon should be in antique shop...ineffective. Worst room of our whole trip...and certainly not cheapest.

thanks for the review, as stated the microwaves are only in the deluxe rooms, as there is no room for them in the standard rooms and the plates and cutlery are kept in reception for hygiene reasons

The room was priced accordingly but the bedspread smelt old, dirty, musky. Room needs to be renovated. I worried about the air quality breathing in dusty, musky air from the closed up old room and the continuous smell of the bedspread while sleeping.

I liked the fact that the location was a great short walk to the main hub of Gunnedah and the staff were friendly. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about my stay.

Fine, abit rundown. But thats in the price. It is near the main street so all walkable. Room was kept clean. Air con worked on the cold cold night. Had to ask for milk each day but biscuits were topped up.

No complimentary cutlery or crockery. No microwave oven. No complimentary milk. Although there were complimentary coffee, tea and sugar. Need to have squeeze leather for showers instead of very small soaps.

Hello Dennis. Firstly thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Plates, knives and forks are not kept in the rooms for a few reasons, e.g. Theft , health reasons but are available upon request at reception. You booked a Standard Room online, when booking the room you were advised that Standard Rooms do not have microwaves in them. Upon your check in we had an extensive conversation and I forgot to offer you your complimentary milk. We have fresh milk in 150m sealed plastic bottles that are not put into rooms , again for certain reasons. As you stayed with us for 3 nights , I find it odd that you didnt come and see me at reception and let me help you with your concerns , after all , that is our job. The shower taps very hard to turn on. Shower dripping all the time. Beds were comfortable.
