"I booked a suite room, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The room was dusty and did not appear to have been cleaned properly. There were no towels or tissues provided in the room, and I had to contact housekeeping to request them. The pillows also had an unpleasant smell. At around 12:00 AM, the room experienced a power trip. After I called the front desk, an electrician was sent to the room. However, the issue was not fully resolved. One of the lights could not be switched off, and I was told that it was "not meant to be turned off," which seemed strange. The room remained very bright, making it difficult for my children to sleep. I had to call the front desk again because the toilet light was also not working. Due to these issues, my children slept very late. The next morning, I requested a slight extension to our check-out time as a gesture of goodwill, but the request was rejected. I also wanted to speak with the manager regarding our experience, but was informed that the manager was unavailable. Overall, the room did not meet expectations, and the service recovery was disappointing. I hope the hotel improves its room maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service."

"Stayed here 2 years ago and really liked it so came back this time. However, standards are really not the same as before. The rooms are a little dated and the toilet sewers gave off a bad smell at night. So bad that we were awakened by the smell. Also, our room was beside the service room and overnight, we kept hearing the opening and slamming of the service doors possibly by the hotel staff. That lasted till 10 plus pm and started again before 6am. Would probably not go back again on our next trip to malacca."

"The hotel location is a bit isolated especially without a car. The staff is very friendly . The rooms designed and built with wood cinder blocks are original yet poorly isolated . Next door their was a family with 2 small children and despite the obvious crying you could also clearly hear all that was going on , all sounds come through the ceiling rafters"

"We had a great 3D1N Stay. Great & friendly staffs & glad to meet the founder, Mr Max. - Comfortable beddings, clean rooms. - Cosy location (in a small lane). - The greetings from all the ground staff at anytime of the day, despite he/she maybe occupied with jobs on hands, will stop to great you. I believe the management team have done a good job in the training. Thank You! Some area to improve, the Check In Counter. It was confusing for many guests, it was located near the Cafe but place is too small; with other guests are still in Q, it was not easy for staff to manage. - Next day, we were been informed the Counter shifted to the other area. That’s a good space & near the Concept Store which we had a great time shopping. - Room’s telephone not working. Had informed the Front Desk on the 1st night, it had not been fixed till the Check Out. Overall experiences was great. Thank You!"
