Good location, fabulous breakfast. It would be nice if the rooms included blow dryers. Toilet runs all the time, and the mini-fridge is quite loud.

Overall decent, not as amazing as expected

For a small hotel, it was decent. The bed was very comfortable, the room was not too small, the shower was excellent, and the staff friendly. The sound proofing between rooms was NOT great, the neighbors were having a fight and we could make out most of what was said. And the breakfast, though decent, was not nearly as good as I expected given the hype. The amazing looking photos on this site are from dinner, and breakfast is much more basic. I was disappointed there weren't more salads and fresh cut fruit, and the little bit of fruit that they didn't have wasn't seasonal (which was disappointing, oranges and tangerines would have been cheap and easy).

The included breakfast at this property was one of the best I have experienced in many trips to Israel. Haifa is hilly and this property is very strategically located in a beautiful area called the Old German village. The B'hai gardens are a 10-minute walk away. I travel to Haifa with some frequency and will book this hotel again.

The staff are great. Everyone does their best to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Location is good and right next to many bus lines. Haifa is a challenging city to navigate. Many neighborhoods to see.

Value for money ( don’t expect much)

Value for money, the breakfast was pretty bad lots of ‘recycled’ pastries although a large variety. Luckily Haifa is full with culinary options. The TV remote control didn’t work well which was a bit of a hustle. Price was fair, room was clean and AC was good but I will probably not return. Service was welcoming.

Friendly, attentive staff, delicious breakfasts. Good mattresses. Tiny rooms with even tinier windows. Very bad mixers in showers not keeping water temperature stable. In our first room temperature oscillated rapidly from cold to scalding. Changed room, larger, better kept up, but during the rush hour water temperature still floated from hot to lukewarm. I suspect it’s old plumbing issue

An old building with bad maintenance was remodeled to create an apparent modern hotel. Nice in the pictures, but smelly. Large confortable rooms, nice customer service, but what can employees do when sewage smell strikes you the moment the elevator opens? Spraying with scented sprays, an action seen several times, is not enough. Too bad, location, service and confortable size rooms and bathrooms was nice. Odor is worse in the fifth floor. We changed rooms and got ones without odor, I would urge owners to take serious actions to solve this very uncomfortable situation. Best luck!

Not a pleasant stay

For one of the rooms, we complained about the noise of the refrigerator and asked for a change of the refrigerator. There was no follow-up and our request was ignored. Later on, we just unplugged the refrigerator and one of us did not have a refrigerator for the 4-day stay. We also talked to the person in the front desk and later referred to the manager to request for an upgrade to a bigger room. Also no follow-up and we were ignored.
