"Is a good place for family and kids "

"Absolutely everything that was advertised at Mr Tucan met and far exceeded our expectations! Everything was clean, everything we needed that we expected was available to us, and the staff were always very helpful, friendly and professional. Thanks to Santiago & Dayna at Reception, and Wendy in Management throughout our stay. All the Bean Crazy Restaurant staff were amazing including Betsy, Jackson, Rhianna and many more. The included breakfast and everything else we ordered at the restaurant was delicious. The housekeeping staff were always friendly and accommodating for anything we needed and security was always professional and present on the property which made it feel very secure (however, we never felt like it was unsafe anywhere). Thank you! "

"The staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful! The location to Half Moon Bay is fantastic—a 10 minute walk. The drinks are the bar are delicious. My room was comfortable, clean and rustic. The air conditioning worked great and the shower had hot water. Overall, for the price, I felt the value was excellent and would recommend the hot if you’re looking to be away from the major crowds and are comfortable with a more rustic cottage vibe. "

"Ocean view was great, short walk to the main strip, quiet at night! Secure w gates locked at night! Highly recommend this place. Jungle vibes without being in the jungle! Beach chairs on site with stairs into the water right near the reef. Excellent snorkeling right there! Rooms very basic, comfortable bed, great shower, Small dorm style refrigerator. Definitely will stay here again! Only downside for me, I wish there was a room to rent with a kitchenette or an onsite kitchen space to use because we enjoy fishing & cooking some nights. "

"If you are looking for a resort that is family friendly or a couple looking for a relaxing vacation then the Grand Roatan may be for you. Our nine day stay was wonderful. The property is beautiful and offers a unique opportunity to snorkel right off the beach in calm waters. The staff here is very friendly and work hard to make sure that you have a great vacation. Everyone had such a positive attitude that we were surrounded by good vibes the entire time. As a vacationing couple we took advantage of the Spa and experienced the best massages of our life. It truly lives up to its reputation as one of the top Spa’s in the world! We also enjoyed diving with West Bay divers and it was also the most relaxing dive experience I have ever had. (Ask for Joel). The food was delicious as we chose not to eat off the resort. Security is tight in and around the resorts in general and we never felt uncomfortable particularly on the property. If you choose to go, say hello to Franklin and Daisy at Altera, Dominic and Kimberly at the Drop Off and Sea Cat and the pool attendants Carson and Gilberto. Some of the most lovely people on the planet. "
