It was a dorm room and super quiet, clean and easy. Staff was very courteous and were happy to help. But it is a dorm room so if you are looking for a hotel then book that. If you want a cheaper option in a great area of Halifax then this is it. Totally happy.

Great location, close to the Wharf area. Double bed room was very small but great for a one night stay. Exactly what we needed. The entire building was immaculate! Bathrooms, common area, room everything was very clean and well maintained! Thankfully it was a little cooler at night, no air conditioning but a fan was included in the room so it made it very comfortable.

Room was fine and shared bathroom was clean and cute with everything you need, but with no air conditioning it was very hot on the second floor. Fan provided but because windows had to be kept open was woken up very early by very loud garbage trucks amongst other big trucks.

One of the most affordable places to stay on the peninsula. I was honestly so impressed by how clean it was - one of the highlights. The only flaw was my bed mattress was older and not the most comfortable to sleep on, but for a short term stay, you can’t get much better than this spot.

Great location along Granville & Sackville Streets, just a few short blocks from the waterfront and terrific value for money. Room was clean and though a little small, had all the essentials including a desk with a phone charger and wifi, lots of hooks on the door, as well a cabinet to put away and hang up personal items like clothing. There were several individual bathrooms on each floor and all came with a shower. Each floor has a shared common area with a kitchen and fridge, microwave, etc. Be prepared for some flights of stairs to climb depending on the floor you get placed as this is an older building. For the price, location and amenities, this was an excellent find amongst some much pricier options in downtown Halifax.

The property is exactly as described. It's a student residence, with all that implies (someone was preparing a meal in the kitchen opposite my room at midnight one night). The place is spotless, with lots of bathrooms available (having access to one of them was never a problem). The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was better than the average student residence but still a bit institutional. The room was warm when I was there, despite the weather being quite cool, which makes me think it might be very uncomfortable in hot weather. All in all, I was very happy with my stay, in part because I was busy and wasn't in the room an awful lot.
