โWe were looking for a cheaper alternative to The Rival, which we really enjoyed six years ago. The Sparrow looked nice - we thought it was worth a visit.
Rooms are cute, but a little small (Classique), but good maid service. Breakfast was a delight - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, pork, cold meats and cheeses, fruits, croissants or rye bread, macroons, yogurts, coffee, tea and orange juice. Lovely ambience with old-fashioned lifts and French music playing in the background. Quiet at the back...

โLoved the architecture, and the fact that it was built in the first few years of 1900. The staff was exceptional. Breakfast was included and it was excellent. The gal taking care of the food was very friendly. The nights were warm and later we found that we could have asked for a fan. We just thoroughly enjoyed our stay and your beautiful city.โ
โStaff were all very pleasant and helpful. Great breakfast buffet. Restaurant was closed at night but that was not an issue. Room clean, and comfortable. Location was perfect. Far exceeded expectations โ
