Oppholdet var ikke til forventning da dusjen/wc i vår etasje ikke var i orden. Sa ifra i resepsjonen at vi ikke hadde kaldtvann i vasken/dusjen på rommet men fikk beskjed om at vi måtte bruke det som lå en etasje opp.

A Shocking "Hotel"

Just imagine you are traveling, and you are expecting a normal room for sleeping, and this imagination would stop when you arrive at this so-called hotel. The lobby makes people feel bad. OK, this is not about the room, right? Then first I talk about the service provided by the receptionist. The receptionist was not friendly and very unprofessional. The "hotel" asked me for paying the city tax in the check-in process, it is the first time I heard a hotel would charge the city tax before their customer check-out. And what even worse is, he refused me to pay it by credit card! As a traveler from outside Europe, I would like to save some cash! Then let's talk about the room. My room was on 4/F. Guess what? No elevator is available. You have to walk by the stairs every time. Then, after I opened the room door, I was shocked by the condition. a place for showering but with only one side glass to prevent the water splash to the room. They do have a shower curtain, but it is very dirty and the water would still make your room very wet! It has no Wi-Fi connection. It is a great problem for me as my SIM card has only about 1GB data left for 8 remaining days on the trip. The description stated there will be 24 hours reception counter service. But I have left for the "hotel" for about 3 times in the mornings, literally no one showed. Therefore, I have to leave my message to check-out my room on the last day! If you would like to have a normal, happy trip, just skip this hotel

Ist ok das Hotel für Preise und Leistung. Gleich am Bahnhof ist sehr praktisch. der Lattenrost im Bett könnte besser sein, der ist nur zusammen geflickt. Ein neuer täte gut.

Lilienhof "NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE"

Hotels.com needs to have a review before advertising hotel Lilienhop. It is not fit for purpose and is not worth staying. I will never stay there and will not recommend it to any one. I booked from 15th to the 19th but did not finish the days there as the behavior of the hotel owners and staff were out of order. I had to book another hotel from bookings.com which was one of the best. no toilet tissue, you have to share toilet with other guests and worst of it you have to pay five euros per day to use the wifi. It was appalling and will not recommend this hotel to any traveler to Hamburg.

Kein fließend Wasser auf dem Zimmer

Ich hatte kein fließendes Wasser im Zimmer, konnte daher weder die Dusche, noch das Waschbecken in meinem Zimmer benutzen. Da ich in der 4. Etage untergebracht war, musste ich das WC in der 3. Etage benutzen und auch die Gemeinschaftsdusche in der 3. Etage. Das war enttäuschend, da ich ja eine Dusche auf meinem Zimmer hatte.

Hotel Lilienhof is very centrally located with easy access to the center of Hamburg as well good rail connections to the airport. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. However, the property itself was not clean nor well maintained. The wardrobes/cupboards were extremely dirty. There was ongoing building work right outside my door every day during my stay and the toilet facilities on my floor were not working. Furthermore, the staff did not respond to my questions prior to arrival.

perfect place if having low expectations

the place is very nicely situated and cheap which was exactly what we wanted. if one does not have high expectations this is a very nice place.Even though the double bed was more like an extended sofa and we had to wait twice until our room was finally ready. but the staff is extremely kind so this was not bad at all.

Schlicht, aber okay!

Freundlicher Empfang Hotel ist einfach, aber ideal gelegen, nahe Hbf. Ich war schon öfter da, wenn ich auf der Durchreise war. Nicht unbedingt ein Haus zum Ferienverbringen, aber gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Ganske fint hotel for pengene. Ikke stedet hvis man forventer mere end blot en soveplads. Ødelagt vask og badet fungere ikke helt optimalt. Toilet i gangen hvilket godt kunne være forstyrrende og træls. Personalet gør ikke andet end at tage imod og udlevere nøglen når man kommer i går. Der er ikke Wi-fi og ingen danske kanaler på fjernsynet. Hotellet er rigtig godt placeret midt i Hamborg hvor man både kan gå ned til vandet og ind til byen på 10 min. Selvom det ligger ud til en stor vej generede det ikke os.
