Our first and hopefully not our last stay at the Come As You Are Inn was a wonderful experience. Mark and Ari provide a welcoming and accomodating space within which one feels at home . The accomodations are delightful . The breakfasts , including freshly baked goodies are just right to start the day. This is a perfectly located hidden gem in a quaint beach town. The service and accommodations were exceptional. Highly recommended!

The Captain Stannard house is a true gem in Westbrook. There are many restaurants, shops, parks, and beaches close by. The property has a private yard and a large rear porch for relaxation. My room was impeccably clean and spacious for being the smallest one in the house. Dianne was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to help all the guests.

friendly staff and welcome on arrival, tastefully decorated. comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast could be improved, A place of this caliber, I would expect fresh bread and toast, sweet butter, eggs to order, rather than the packaged food service microwave prepared hash browns, sausage slice and packaged mini quiche tarts. The caned tangerine accented with mint was refreshing. good coffee.

The location is great for walking around downtown. Close to shops, restaurants and a quick drive to the beach. I came here off season and it was chilly but during the summer you could easily ride a bike over to the beach. The room was clean, comfortable and very Hamptons feeling. Parking on site which was nice and I highly recommend the coffee shop on the corner. During the summer sitting on the big front porch would be nice.
