From the moment Manuto picked me up at the airport I got the sense that I was in good hands and would be well taken care of by my host during the week I'd be on Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Manuto is kind, courteous, and willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure a pleasurable stay for his guests. And my stay was certainly pleasurable.
The rooms are nice and clean, with enough space to feel like you can "live there" for an extended stay. Mine was a 7 night stay, so first thing I did was walk down toward town and buy some groceries and cooking supplies as the cabaña had a full kitchen. There were 3 little markets within less than a mile. So even without your own transportation, you can get the essentials with a little walk.
However, if you are in need a rental vehicle, Manuto also has a few vehicles for rent. I rented one for 3 days and it was nice to be able to explore the island on my own after a 2 day guided tour.
Cabañas Manuto checked all of the important boxes for me regarding extended stay accommodations, and Manuto and his staff are just the most gracious hosts. You really get a feel for the heart of the Rapa Nui people and culture, here. Will definitely stay with them again next time!
