“Based on the pictures and ratings, I didn't realize that the structure was more like a motel and not a hotel. Meaning, you walked to your room from the outside. The walls were thin and you could hear conversations, noises from adjoining rooms. The grounds were beautiful and it was very clean, however. The AC was a noisy wall unit. I can see where most would not have a problem with a motel type atmosphere, but for us, we prefer something different.”

“Very disappointed, this location was in Petoskey we paid a lot of money for this hotel. Had a check in late because the room wasn't clean yet. This is a king Lakeview I had to pay extra. Had a very small countertop like for half bathroom and the worst part is smelled like strong chemicals that burned my throat so bad. We left and came back and still so bad we had to leave. It ruined our entire visit and had to drive home 3 hours. Expedia charged me 95.00 to cancel in order to get my refund. I...
