“The staff all gave the most amazing service, its the care to detail the little extra that stands out. I could not find anything to complain about. The evening menu (££££) looked amazing, however I was not wanting a rich meal . So they let me order a sandwich. My husband enjoyed the fish pie. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent quality with plenty of choice. ”

“Room was large, big bathtub. One corner of the room had moisture damage, and mold, perhaps from a roof leak or condensation. Pub was cosy. Food tasty. There is nothing else to do in Sandhutton. A critter scampering, and chewing in the attic above our room kept us awake most of the night. ”

“I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. ”
