“Overall, the Silver Bell was a good value for the money paid. The owner, with whom we spoke only by phone, was very pleasant. The room we stayed in had just been renovated with new flooring, toilet, etc., so it was very clean. For us, safety and cleanliness were our two key concerns. Be aware that there are no amenities or decorations of any kind (coffee maker, closet, suitcase stand, pictures, etc.), other than the soap that is provided. “Not worth the price! Furniture is horrible, uncomfortable, and rooms are decorated from two decades ago. The shower floor was so slippery I almost fell numerous times. Do not stay if you are elderly. Staff were unfriendly and not personable at all. Free breakfast was not good. Stay elsewhere in town. This hotel is way overpriced for what it is. Wouldn’t stay here again.”
