“The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very happy to help. My room was a dog friendly room, at the top of the hotel. Super views. The room was everything as advertised, clean, tidy and comfortable. The heating was on, the hot water was hot, plenty of tea and coffee, huge television, and plenty of breakfast full English.”

“I stayed for two nights with my wife, bed and breakfast. We had one of the chalets out the back which was very clean and cosy. The facilities are first class and the staff were great. The food was superb, reasonably priced and large portions. The breakfast was very good with a ample choice.”

“Quaint location in an historical building. Some uneven floorboards and doors would get stuck, but that’s to be expected ina building several hundred years old.”

“Very nicely situated in a quiet village area 3miles from the town centre. Large car park at the rear and easy access to a bus service outside. Clean pub and rooms of a reasonable quality. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Well priced.”

“Perfect location. Bus stop and train station are close by. Property run down and in need of repairs. You get what you pay for! No internet in the rooms only in the pub next door. Can hear pigeons outside and sounded like something was in the loft. ”
