Harz, Germany hotel rooms at the Romantik Hotel

Wonderful and friendly and very helpful service

Liono was such a special place to stay. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was superb, with so many offerings! We love to walk, so the 15 minute walk to town was to our liking. Everything about Liono suited us and we would stay again if we are in the area!

First off: The staff was phenomenal! From the front desk, to the restaurant (thanks for preparing my complimentary Tiramisu at 10:45pm!), to the cleaning crew, they were all amazing. The hotel has the best location given that is is right on the Markplatz. Easy walk to explore the town. Added bonus is the parking onsite for 10 Euros a day. Wonderful staff who spoke English or would find someone to help us. Parking ramp right next to the hotel. Hotel right next to the Rathaus and walking distance to beautiful pedestrian area.

Hotel location is on quiet neighborhood, about 10min walk from village center. Hotel yard areas was under construction, but we were on hotel at weekend so construction works didn't bother us. Room was clean, but it smelled little bit musty. Staff was really friendly and breakfast was plenty enough and really tasty.

This hotel is truly a 5 star hotel, the staff is fantastic, kind ,friendly And so helpful. Also the hotel belongs to relais & Chateaux The hotel has won the prestigious 5 C rating and has been a member Since 1999. THE 5 C’s are. Character, Courtesy, Calm, Charm, And Cuisine. This is a great honor. Like restaurant with Michelin Stars. Make no mistake ....this hotel is one of the best.

This hotel is a small, family run hotel that is very lovely and restored so beautifully. The hotel is roomy, quiet, and a wonderful stay. Don't expect a lot of service extras, as reception has only a few hours a day, but they are available in case of emergencies. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil get away, this is a perfect place. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had variety from day to day as well. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and confortable. It had a wonderful view of the mountains and of nature. I highly recommend it. The staff was very helpful, I forgot a personal item, and they were kind enough to send it back right away.
