Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance. The cave is an architectural gem with a thoughtful caring winemaker at the helm. Delicious!"

"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. "Accueil catastrophique ! La jeune réceptionniste ne savait pas que nous avions réservé par votre entremise ! Avons commandé a notre arrivée pour dimanche matin 2 petits déjeuners. Résultat : aucun petit-déjeuner disponible car absence totale de personnel et impossibilité de rentrer dans l espace approprié. Pour la chambre pas de chaises, 1 volet roulant cassé, salle de bain limite propreté avec absence shampooing et gel douche . Hôtel à proscrire "

"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must. Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."
