Although this hotel is not in the old town, it is an easy 20 minute walk. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Staff was accommodating and polite. Very pleased with our stay!!!

Decor was neglected. Our room was not cleaned well. Overall this establishment needs updating and a very good clean. Hot drinks at breakfast from the two machines were yuck. Telling us they also needed sanitising and cleaning. Not value for the cost nor would I recommend the Grand Hotel Bristol.

The train station is across the street, and the city itself is a quick and easy walk. The hotel is in great condition, but still has old world charm and gives off historical vibes. Plus the staff is great!

Directly across from the train station and less than a kilometer walk to the tourist downtown with sites along the walk to see no matter which route you choose. Room was great. Breakfast is excellent. Really a nice place to stay in Colmar and good base for easily touring the city or exploring the region.
