The hotel is right across the street from the train station and a 15 minute walk from the old town. The room was very nice and the spa was wonderful. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The train station is across the street, and the city itself is a quick and easy walk. The hotel is in great condition, but still has old world charm and gives off historical vibes. Plus the staff is great!

Directly across from the train station and less than a kilometer walk to the tourist downtown with sites along the walk to see no matter which route you choose. Room was great. Breakfast is excellent. Really a nice place to stay in Colmar and good base for easily touring the city or exploring the region.

Decent hotel and good location

Nice enough hotel, right next to the station. Short taxi ride to Expo Colmar, where we were attending a concert. Decent hotel, ideal for our overnight stay.

Good option for Colmar (Alsace)

Stayed here for 4 nights to go to the Christmas markets in the surrounding area. Very nice hotel, convenient to many locations (Colmar, Strassbourgh, etc.). Easy to walk to Petite Venice in Colmar and right across the street from the train station. There are a few restaurants in the neighborhood as well as a great bistro in the hotel.

Location is fantastic, across the street from the train station and an easy 15-20 minutes walk to the Christmas markets. Although they do offer transportation by bus to them. Beautiful and clean hotel. Staff awesome too.

Main attraction is its location straight across from the Colmar train station. Other than that, food is mediocre and property can use a major remodeling work as it looks and feels worn out.

Hotel is currently being renovated outside but do not be put off. nice restaurant and hotel is just opposite the station. evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Room was a good size. 15-20 minutes walk into the old town.

This was a last minute reservation and the hotel was very accomodating. We ordered a triple room and they offered us a double and single for same price. Quite a walk from the Christmas market; but, we had been walking all day, so it wasnt an issue. The train station was across the street so that would be very convenient for some. I loved our balcony!

Family trip Colmar

Very friendly staffs all the way from reception to dining and concierge. The location is super convenient just across the station. Easy to reach the old town by a shuttle operating every 15 minutes. Unique design of the building and the rooms. Very old building but well maintained.

The hotel was nice however cleaning service did not refresh the sheets. There was only one person supposedly working in the hotel and we had trouble getting a playpen for our child and was initially told we wouldn’t have one if she couldn’t find it. When we reserved this place I was a little hesitant about its location, I thought it wasn’t going to be quiet or safe but I was wrong. The train station is small and historic, the area is quiet and safe. There is a free shuttle that takes you to the old town if you don’t want to walk. The shuttle stop is less than a block from the hotel. Our room was big, the shower too! The bed was super comfortable. We didn’t eat or have breakfast at the hotel. We took tours from Colmar to other towns and also took the train for a day trip to Strasbourg.

Don’t like it!!!

Toooo old … rooms are dirty, need a renovation. Booked hotel only because of sauna , but it should be reserved , when came there was fully booked. Really disappointed… no one hotel required a sauna reservation. Only one good thing close to train station. No restaurants near available. Only a kebab and expensive hotel restaurant. Stuff are not friendly. Not recommend

The Grand Bristol Hotel in Colmar is under renovation. Service is terrible, air conditioning is not working. The cleaning people forget to clean your room ??? There was one day raining for several hours and in the 4th floor there was several leaks of water coming down, the people of the hotel needed to put buckets to stop the spread of water in the 4th floor. I will call Expedia for a partial refund on my stay in this hotel. Everything in the hotel is old. The could not put a new box of Kleenex box in the room for 24 hours. Terrible stay.

We took the train from Paris to Colmar and stayed at the Grand Hotel Bristol for two nights. The hotel is located less than a minute's walk from the train station and is about a 20 minute walk from the Colmar tourist area. The check-in staff was amazing and assigned us to a Classic Room per our reservation. The room was reasonably sized for a European hotel and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of American and European breakfast choices, including: scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts and cheeses, cereal, a variety of fresh breads, and more. It was delicious and a great way to start the day. We also dined in the on-site restaurant one night. The food was very good with a variety of dishes to select from, generous portion sizes, and was reasonably priced. I recommend a reservation because the restaurant was very busy (with a tour group and others), but the staff was able to find us a table. We only encountered one issue. I woke one morning at around 0100 and wanted to go for a short walk. The front doors to the building were locked so that no one could leave or enter the hotel and a note was on the reception desk stating the night clerk would return in a short time. After 30 minutes of waiting and searching, I finally found the night clerk prepping a conference room for the next day. I was concerned that there was a safety issue for the guests inside and with guests out late being locked out.

Wir waren im vierten Stock des Nebengebäudes untergebracht. Im Flur war ein permanenter starker Abwassergeruch, der auch sehr deutlich in unserem Zimmer zu riechen war. Das hat die Qualität des Aufenthaltes deutlich reduziert
