“We had a lovely stay at Shepherds Barn, we went for the Goodwood horse races and because of its location, the property was perfect for us. Everything was really clean and in great condition. The surroundings were beautiful. It was great to also have a little kitchen to make our own breakfast in the morning. ”

“Met by awful smell in en-suite shower it took 10 minutes of running shower to clear it. Property needs a lot of tlc. Bulbs missing in ceiling light mirror broken and bed broken underneath. Kitchen tap dripping so water being wasted. Only 2 milk pans available for cooking for 7 people and insufficient cutlery only 1 teaspoon. Living room is too small for a family of 7. The house is in a nice area for access to shops and restaurants as well as other parts of the island.”

“It was just what we needed. We had an issue on the first day that was quickly addressed. Plenty of space, lovely décor and very quiet. Visit to meet 2 grandchildren born during the pandemic and now 15 months old. ”

“We stayed here the day after an all night flight before a cruise the following day. There was no bell service and the halls are carpeted and nearly impossible to drag luggage across. The rooms were unique and the bed was great. You can hear the neighboring rooms but fortunately we had quiet neighbors. The coffee shop/cafe was nice in atmosphere and the food was good too.
