"The breakfast buffet was above the typical breakfast buffet. The staff overall were all amazingly helpful, friendly and professional. The rooms were not that spacious, but that only meant we had reasons to be out of it more often. The rooms were quiet on our floor (11th floor) and while the elevator sometimes took a while to arrive, it was quite fast in getting us to the floor we requested.
A few cons were first and foremost all the tiny scavenger birds during breakfast. They were EVERYWHERE! Even with the staff constantly shooing them away, they respawned quickly. We had to leave the table in shifts, otherwise they were on your food within seconds of you leaving.
Another was the one light switch to control the bathroom and mirror area. We did not think this through, so went to target to get a night light, but the target was sold out of night lights! My wife guessed it was because every other guest ran into the same issue.
Overall, the hotel was conveniently located (zoo and beach literally right down the block), incredible staff, and truly within walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops."
