For £200 a night we expected everything to work. For example, there was a beautiful marble setting but the heating was not on and there was no clear way of controlling the temperature in the room which was in a cold downstairs location. On a previous visit in a cheaper room we had an iron provided , a functioning coffee machine and milk and a larger table. This was a warm cosy room.The coffee machine this time did not work. Unfortunately everything in town on Mondays is closed and there is no restaurant in the hotel even though a restaurant is indicated in the hotel. To be kind bread and milk were provided on request. The toilet was electronically driven but needed three flushes sometimes to clear properly to avoid a smell of urine when it refilled. There is no hand basin in the toilet. This is only in the shower up some steps. There are no handles on the bathroom door so it can't be fully closed or locked. We would heartily recommend the cheaper room at £116 per night with everything functioning but the luxury room for £200 a night is for us was not good value for money. Staff were polite and friendly. I would recommend you improve your French if you intend to visit so you can communicate your requests better.

Le château est très beau, les chambres spacieuses, mais la chaleur du moment sans climatisation ni possibilité d'aérer convenablement + moustiques en nombre dans la chambre = séjour et repos peu agréable malgré la beauté du lieu (belle vue + belle bâtisse). Décoration un brin vieillotte et petit déjeuner banal pour le tarif.

Le lieu est magnifique.le parking est pratique . Le salon avec vue grandiose , le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux . la propriétaire répond très rapidement en mail et sur place et arrange de suite les petits problèmes . La literie est très bonne et la chambre à thème originale mais certains endroits de passage jardins, terrasse, salon de jardin ne sont pas soignés ou nettoyés . C’ est noté Hotel de charme 4 étoiles . Ça manque de petits détails de standing .

Une expérience très décevante Séjour très en dessous de mes attentes. À l’arrivée, j’ai été contraint de repayer ma réservation pour obtenir ma chambre, un problème incompréhensible et inacceptable. La responsable m’a finalement attribué une autre chambre, plus petite que celle initialement prévue, en m’indiquant que la première était un surclassement. Résultat : une chambre à peine plus correcte, mais toujours problématique. Voici les principaux points négatifs : Chambre poussiéreuse, avec une odeur persistante de poussière. Éclairage incomplet, ambiance sombre. Chauffage défaillant, chambre froide. Machine à café en panne. Décoration négligée : cadres ou photos de travers. Petit déjeuner très cher au regard de la qualité : produits peu variés, non réfrigérés… Seule la vue panoramique (très belle, il faut le reconnaître) semble justifier le tarif. Enfin, la responsable m’a remboursé le montant payé en double, mais en déduisant la taxe de séjour, alors que celle-ci avait déjà été réglée via ma réservation sur Expedia. Cela ajoute à une impression générale de désorganisation. Seul point positif : le réceptionniste à l’accueil. Jeune, débutant, mais très aimable et de bonne volonté. Dommage qu’il soit le seul à sauver un service globalement décevant. En résumé : je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

beaux séjours dans l’ensemble avec le jaccuzi privé (très rare) presque sans faut car la propreté sous lit laissé a désirer (araignées, sur matelas déchiré avec cheveux et poiles en dessous..) ainsi que des améliorations niveau agencement sont nécessaire pour un 4 étoiles.

Jolie chambre atypique mais jacuzzi lavabo et wc dans une cave en sous sol. Du coup, sol pierre trop froid aux pieds nus, marches glissantes et il manquait un chemin de lumiere pour y descendre la nuit. Odeur wc sanibroyeur pas tres glamour

Faded glory - needs refurbishment and investment

Entrance way was impressive, receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was disappointing - it felt tired and run down and looked like it had been a good hotel in the past but faded glory and lack of investment by the owners had made it faded glory and a little shabby - particulart the outside area which quite frankly was awful. The swimming pool the grounds - all very shabby. Breakfast was tiny and overpriced. Location was very beautiful though
