"My husband and I stayed at the Heritage Inn for one night with our dog as we were in town for work.
Overall, we had a great experience until we got locked out of our room for almost 2 hours ..
First thing to note, when booking on Expedia it does not clearly state this but not all rooms are pet friendly.
We were messaged by the property stating this and unfortunately, the room we booked was not pet friendly. The manager ultimately allowed us to keep our room though!
Our coworkers stayed at the inn as well and same thing happened to them.
Heritage inn is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And I still recommend staying here as it is in a great location & near lots of restaurants.
The place is very clean and well kept- HUGE shout out to whomever tends the garden! It is beautiful and my pup loved smelling all the flowers.
Our room was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable and I loved the little details such as chocolates on the bed side table.
The guest lounge is also great for grabbing a snack / drink and they have a bunch of DVDs you can borrow!
*There is no staff onsite* this was very inconvenient when it came to getting locked out of our room. We had to wait until a housekeeper arrived to unlock it which took about 2 hours.
Huge shout out to the manager Michelle! She was always available, kind, and helped anyway she could! Thank you!
