De locatie van het hotel is prachtig gelegen aan de Rursee, met een groot buitenterras. Als je in het laagseizoen gaat is het heel rustig en is de omgeving perfect geschikt voor mooie wandelingen. Het hotel zelf voelt in de kamers ietwat gedateerd aan, maar het is wel allemaal schoon en alles werkt naar behoren. Het zelfbedieningsrestaurant is goed, maar ook niet meer dan dat. Af en toe wat norse service, maar je kunt nu eenmaal niet altijd zes gooien. Ik zou hier zeker weer slapen, omdat de locatie echt ideaal is. Parkeren is € 6 per nacht, wat gek voelt in een compleet uitgestorven laagseizoen, maar goed.
