"Misleading advertisement and management didn’t respond when we complained. I booked a cabin via hotels.com at Finca el Mazo for my family including our two young children. It was advertised as being family friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, football, games room and basketball. Overnight stop

"Good hotel for an overnight stop on the way to Santander ferry port. Slightly small room but adequate for the one night. Good evening meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was a little uninspiring."

Great place to stay in the north

"We have stayed several times now for a couple of days to enjoy the north of Spain whilst travelling. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the apartments are always spotless and fitted out to a high standard Bar and restaurant are good with nice outside area to take a tipple and food, breakfast is very good. Some nice walking from the door which is great if travelling with a four legged friend as it is a dog friendly apartment and 20-25 mins to a number of beaches. Parking is no problem though does get busy in the evening and weekends It is next to a busy road however the rooms are very well sound proofed so no problem there we will surely be back. "

"Fabulous place in a lovely location. We had a brilliant stay and the hotel could not do enough to help us. They allowed us to check out a couple of hours later as we had struggled to get transport back from Bilbao, they also made us packed lunch (for a small fee) on departure even though the restaurant was closed. Couldn't recommend enough"
