Matig hotel.

De schoonmaak was om de een a twee dagen. Is voor een appartement te weinig. Vuilnisbak liep over, beddengoed niet verschoond. Wastafel versmeerde.

Family vacation

We stayed at Elgoni Apartments for 3 nights with a baby. The owners were very nice, very helpful. We had a hard time to find the place but it might be cause we arrived at night and it was so dark that we had a hard time to see the signs. The room/apartment was very big, and the owners did everything to make it as comfortable as possible. We had a kitchenette so we could cook a bit and buy your own food for breakfasts. However, the shower was very bad (not even a hook to suspend the shower head), there was not a lot of hot water. Also you have to pay 7 Euros extra a night to have the air conditionning (which we paid cause it was very hot). The pool was very deep with no stairs (harder to swim with a baby). The neighbourhood is very calm and residential, and it is walking distance from restaurants and shops. But if you want to go the the beach you have to take a car and it is not close.

you get what you pay for

Hotel reception is friendly and nice, always serve with smile. The price is quite cheap. Equivalently, you get what you pay for, so it's fair to know the cost of being "cheap". 1) it took us 15-20 mins on foot from Main Street to reach the hotel, taxi costed us 7 euros; 2) The room doesn't have a TV, and you need to pay 7 euro extra for using air condition; 3) We don't have wifi signal in our room; 4) The cleanness of bath room is a bit disappointed, the showerhead handle is covered with oil(/fat) from previous users. Again, I think it's fair for the price, but just be aware of what are being paid for. Last but not least, nothing to do with the hotel though, in case you want to rent a scooter, we don't recommend the store operated by a mid-age women closeby (closest to the hotel), because I'm sure you won't like her service attitude.

Hotel für Ruhesuchende

Es ist ein kleines einfach eingerichtetes Hotel. Die Apartments verfügen über eine kleine eingerichtete Küche. Gegen Aufpreis gibt es eine Klimaanlage. Es ist sehr ruhig oberhalb von Chersonisos gelegen. Am Pool ist nicht viel los, oft hat man ihn für sich alleine. In der Nähe (5 Minuten Fußweg) findet man viele Restaurants und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man hat einen schönen Blick über die Bucht bis zum Hafen. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Beurteilung fehlt die Kategorie "gut" die hätte ich vergeben, wenn es möglich gewesen wäre.

Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja palvelu. Hotellin sijainti n. 1,5 km ylämäkeeen keskustasta, joten tarvitaan mielellään joku kulkuneuvo, jos aikoo liikkua alueella laajemmalti. Huone vatimaton, mutta siisti. WC:hen ei saa laittaa paperia, mikä sinänsä on tavallista siellä pikkuhotelleisssa. Keittolevyt ja astiat huoneessa. Hotellin lähellä Piskopianon kylässä muutama mukava taverna.
