โHotel Tonihof is a beautiful, charming, classical Bavarian hotel. The view are stunning. The staff couldn't be more helpful, our room was well equipped and traditional. It's the antithesis of a modern chain hotel, we stayed in 9 hotels in two weeks in Germany and Poland and Tonihof was by far the most memorable.โ
โVery satisfied. Spacious room and excellent food. The staffs are kind and ready to help. The only wish (if I may), the opening hours of souna is wished to be longer.โ
โWe just had an overnight stop here on our way to Austria. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the village and nearby monestry. The view down the valley is fantastic. The room was very clean and the restaurant served a good selection of Bavarian food. Parking was good and the village only a short walk away.
The chimes of the monestry clock every 15minutes might not be to everyoneโs liking but certainly adds to the alpine atmosphere.โ
โOld but historic hotel with the bath being renovated. Furnitures look more than two hundreds old, including bed frame. But bed mattress are firm and comfort. Overall A- grade.โ
โWe had a 4 day stay in Garmisch and the accommodation was beautiful. A typical german style apartment. Very clean with everything we needed. There was a wellness suite in the basement with sauna, solarium and various other wellness bits. The rooms were very clean and the bed large and very comfortable. No oven or microwave, but a hob, fridge and TV. The collection of the key for the apartment was easy and just a lovely stay in a beautiful part of Germany. โ
โWie schรถn, da es in Bayern immer mehr eine Seltenheit ist, dass der Wirt ein Einheimischer ist und ich mich in meiner Heimat-Sprache unterhalten konnte.
Bis bald.โ
