“Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. “The room was great and facilities clean and well-maintained. This was our final stop along the Hadrian’s Wall Path and a welcome upgrade from campsites along the way. Good value for money and a lively restaurant nearby.”
