“I booked the room online for 2 nights but didn't stay even 1 night because the room was dirty, dark, gloomy, small, claustrophobic, unwelcoming, uncomfortable, did not look like the pictures online, and there were a lot of drunk people right outside the room drinking & partying very loudly. I told the staff about the drinking and loud partying and they did nothing about it. Stay away from this hotel. Do not stay at this hotel.”

“Breakfast and staff”

“Room was very nicely ready for us!”

“The room (the Marble House Room) was attractive and very clean. The hosts were friendly, easy to talk with, and hospitable. The continental breakfast was very pleasant. We enjoyed being able to walk to the historic downtown area and have a good meal at Cafe 220. Would recommend to friends!”

“Our room was infested with ants. Staff completely dismissive of problem. Sprayed for ants with children in room. Was told not to expect a refund. Will never return again!”

“Great property and well maintained. Would stay again if in the area.”

“The main reason I am not happy is I booked a king room at a lower price and then when I got there it was a lot more! On top of that, they had NO king rooms available overbooked! Had to get a queen and only $25.00 credit. Not happy with this! If I am gonna pay $300 a night for 1 room for 1 night it best be the best and what I had asked for!! Very disappointed!!”

“Sonesta is a nice, clean and affordable place to stay. They and bar is excellent. I was impressed with the food. I had a Margherita Pizza and cheesecake egg rolls. Breakfast is included with your stay and it is made to order. I would recommend Sonesta to others, but I do suggest that you book through Expedia”
