"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. "Fantastic. Wonderful resort property overlooking a bay. Peaceful, serene and scenic. The hotel will pick you up at the Toba train station and drop you off. For our purposes, it worked better when we rented a car for 24 hours so we could explore the Ise-Shima National Park and go do an Ama Hut about 30 minutes away. Pick ups and drop offs arranged ahead of time with the front desk. The best part of the hotel was the Onsen. When we were there, it wasn't crowded at all and the outdoor Onsen overlooks the bay. Large hot baths and a small cold plunge that wasn't too cold. It was just right for a quick cooling plunge. A couple of outdoor chairs to sit and dry off. The only thing to plan for is there is not a konbini close by so a car would come in handy. For late dinners, the train station is a 15 minute walk away. We found a sushi kaiten open til 10pm right by the station. Highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Toba"

"Great value, the hotel and amenities were clean and looked after. The breakfast buffet is very generous. The Onsen was very nice with a lovely ocean view especially at night. My only criticism is it was noisy there with loud people shouting and kids running up and down the hallway and some ill mannered guests talking loudly in the hallway instead of in their rooms. I put that on the guests not taking anyone into consideration though. The people talking loudly for over an hour soon stopped after I stepped out of my room and glared at them until they left."
