"Wonderful stay in a traditional machiya. Stayed in Samurai room with terrace which was perfect to relax in after long day. Our highlight was omakase dinner with the best sushi we've ever had! Western style breakfast was delicious and not too heavy. Took chef’s advice to take evening walk to see Miyajima at night and it was perfect to see the torii gate and shrine at night without the crowds. If you can spare a night here to escape the city and experience the island in the evening would highly...

"We stayed to see the rabbits on the island. Would have been nice if a few more options at dinner and breakfast. I struggled to find things to eat at dinner and my husband breakfast. We didn’t use the onsen so also would be nice if maybe other activities in were available. We had a nice stay none the less "

"Good location for sightseeing and shopping, not too far from Hiroshima station. The room was clean and comfortable for my two-night stay. I was a bit disappointed that the hotel is right next to the river but my room had a view of a wall from the window, considering I've paid less money previously for a different hotel in the same area which gave me a beautiful view."
