3 nights in Hiroshima

I have stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and it has gone through a name change and renovation. It’s very modern and worth it with the buffet breakfast. Room is one of the larger rooms with a queen size bed. I would stay here again on my future stays in Hiroshima.

I liked the fact that it was not too far away from the shopping areas and covered markets and it was walkable from Hiroshima station. It would have been nice to have had some instant coffee in the room each morning. Free coffee in the afternoon in the lobby is nice though.

River view room

We enjoyed our stay at the EN Hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our twin-room on the eighth floor was compact and clean. The view of the river was beautiful. It's a 15 min walk to Hiroshima station and a similar distance to the downtown area. We liked this location.

The breakfast was fantastic and I hadn't even realised it was included in the cost which was extremely reasonable anyway. The washing machine and dryer was a major bonus when travelling and were cheap, quick and easy to use. My only complaint was the bathroom was tiny and not practical There was practically nowhere to put toiletry bags or toiletries. The available space was at the the back of the toilet and that seemed very inappropriate and unhygienic. If there was a better bathroom there would be a 10/10 score.

A pleasant stay

I was attracted by the stylish refurbishment of the hotel so I booked EN hotel for our stay in Hiroshima. Later we found that we need one more night in Hiroshima so we booked another night which became two separate stays for diff rooms. The hotel got us upgraded one of the nights and that we don’t have to change room. All desk staff are absolutely friendly and we feel welcoming all the time. Keisuke San who also made an even more pleasant during check-in. Everything was splendid during the stay. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay in EN hotel, a quiet place next to a river and few blocks to the city center.

Clean, close transportation, safe

I loved the customer service, check in, room was for the most part updated, space was great for two people. We walked to the Dome always just to get to know the area and it was about a 20 min walk. We ordered the standard room (least expensive one) and loved the space and view. We ate breakfast the last day, it was simple continental breakfast with traditional cuisine for 1500 if paid prior to, which if you eat a lot, can save you as breakfast could be that much, in the area, for just the entreé. We walked from Hiroshima station (long walk) but the city train was close (line 2) and it takes you to the main station, and also Hiroshima memorial park (main visitors area) as well as to the Miyajima ferry station. I would stay here again, good for families, solo travelers, etc. Don’t need to buy toiletries.

ツインの部屋は広く掃除も行き届いていて快適でした。朝食は品数が多く御当地のおかずもあり良かったです。ホテル提携の駐車場は少し歩くので覚悟が必要です。チェックインの際にお祭りと重なり駐車場が満車だった時には焦りました。すぐに空きが出て事なきを得ましたが。駐車場を利用する場合は早めのチェックインをお勧めします。フロントの方は親切でした。

Basic hotel

Hotel is an old hotel. We had a triple room and they added a third bed to room so we had no space for stroller and one suitcase. Beds were hard so were pillows and we loved that. They provided slippers, excellent face wash, shampoo, conditioner, pajamas. There is kettle and fridge in room. Downstairs there is free coffee and tea between 15-20 (didnt like). Breakfast is very basic, but they did have bread and jam and milk and cornflakes for the kids. No option to open window, air in the room was awful even though there is AC. Its an OK basic hotel but we wont stay here again and dont recommend it.
