We love the immersive experience of this hotel. We stay here every time we visit our son who lives in the neighborhood and now it feels like ours. The staff is wonderful! Some of the rooms could use some updates. It’s a really old building, so that has to be expected. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We had a good stay. We were able to check in early which was super convenient especially with the blizzard. The room was nice and clean and the hotel is very close to the Empire State Building. The only down side is that the hotel charges you an amenities fee at the end of your stay which was dumb. The lady at the desk when I checked out was kinda rude too. Apparently the amenities are the discount the bakery next door offers however we didn’t use the discount. Also for the two water bottles and wifi… isn’t that what the room fee is for? It’s just odd and felt scammy. We didn’t have this issue at the two other hotels we stayed at near Rockefeller center. So I probably wouldn’t come back because of that.
