Amazing experience

Recently stayed at this lodge in the Zululand area of South Africa, and it was an incredible experience. The property was fantastic, the staff were amazing, and the food was very good. A solid 4.5-star experience – highly recommended!

Worth every rand.

High-end service expectations met on all levels. Game drives were exceptional with very knowledgeable and customer driven guides. Facilities, while limited, were superb in every way. Very accommodating staff in all areas. Food in the dining room was gourmet level.

We were delighted by our stay at Sungulwane. The property is beautiful. The chef is phenomenal. Our guide in game drives, Daniel, was extremely passionate and knowledgeable, and a wonderful story teller. We saw all but the loeopard of the big 5, but we also saw a cheetah and had a great lion sighting.

Fantastic safari lodge

Excellent safari lodge - very friendly. Great guide (Jordan) - saw the big 5 including after hours extra trip to find leopard on road. Comfortable vehicle. Ponchos needed for pouring rain in one trip did not spoil experience. Very friendly managers and staff. Would highly recommend. Birthday cake produced too and great vegan food for one of our party provided.

Wir haben hier 5 fantastische Tage (4 Übernachtungen) verbracht... und haben jeden einzelnen Tag extrem genossen... Die Zimmer sowie die gesamte Lodge ist sehr schön eingerichtet.. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Gastgeber sind toll... und das Personal sehr freundlich. Trotz des sehr hohen Standards, ist alles sehr unkompliziert und herzlich... Ein tolles Konzept. Die Game Drives, jeweils am frühen Morgen und am frühen Abend sind unfassbar schön und spannend. Unsere nächste Reise nach Süd Afrika führt uns ganz sicher wieder zur Sungulwane Private Game Lodge ! Herzlichen Dank für das tolle Frühstück "to go" an unserem Abreisetag !
