We’ve travelled all over the Caribbean and the world and we would definitely say this was our favourite accommodations and resort by far. Everything and everyone was Excellent!!!!

The rooms are fantastic all totally brand new and very beautifully decorated and comfortable. Lovely mattresses on the beds too for a great nights sleep

The rooms have been considerably upgraded and are much more comfortable than before Marriott took over. But the use of buffet-dinner arrangements at premium prices is disappointing and not good value for money. You don't pay these sorts of prices to have to serve yourself. Apart from the room renovation the hotek is not much improved from the Elegant days but is much more expensive.

We had a wonderful stay. The food was average and certain things like the calamari and the fried banana chips were awful. Our room was excellent, clean and roomie. The transportation was spot on! The beach location is gorgeous, and the overall hotel is in an excellent and convenient area.

What we loved about Colony Club: * Great beach and beautiful, clear sea - having spent time in Rockley and Mullins, we thought this is the best beach spot and you can walk close to 3 miles (up and back) along the beach from the hotel (with beach shoes on) * Great location - Can walk to local restaurants and shops * Multi million dollar refurbishment and everything was very new * Stunning gardens - wow! Humming birds, parakeets... * Happy hour 5-6pm each day (although not well advertised) - 2 for 1 cocktails and beer * Free beach sports - motorised and non motor - again not well advertised * Nice lunch options at the hotel * Free water always available, plus little titbits offered by staff during the day * Comfy loungers * Breakfast great for us - lots of choice * Snorkel (reef very close to hotel - go left on beach to marine park) - lots of great fish * Nice polite helpful staff * Buses outside hotel go to Speightsown and Oistins. Just flag them down - $3.50 all rides. We loved Speightsown. * Daily activities if want to participate. Ideally the leaflet should mention happy hour and list the beach activities that are free. * Live music Cannot think of any negatives! Loved it and would go again! We went on some fantastic trips (through Tripadviser) - swam with turtles, toured the island, electric bikes - wonderful holiday!

No kids club or activities, tv in room could improve other than that nothing to complain about. Best beach ever visited in barbados very new modern everything pool very nice staff very nice. But exempensife like the rest of this island. 3 scoops of ice cream for 50usd.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. All willing to help whether it be reception staff, beach staff, or any staff. Reception staff noticed from my passport that it was a special birthday for me so they left me a beautiful little birthday cake in my room! Room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Bed was super comfortable. The beach is gorgeous with safe swimming, and I love the gardens with the beautiful trees and plants, and the pools.

Breakfast was great.. Food and drinks at this location are unacceptably high priced; ridiculous actually. If you walk into town it's not much cheaper. With exception of 1 or 2 of the staff; most were not friendly at all which I found strange. Price gouging and affordability is my biggest complaint about this property.. even getting to the airport was 150.00 with no option for a cheaper method.

We truly loved so much about this hotel. The recent renovations are beautiful, and the location is absolutely perfect — easily one of the nicest stretches of beach compared to others nearby. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, with Sandra standing out for her exceptional service. A few small things could be improved. Morning coffee service was a bit hit-and-miss; on several occasions we ordered twice and it never arrived. The lunch menu is fantastic, but dinner didn’t quite measure up in comparison. And for anyone who enjoys working out, just note that the gym is very small — one bench, one mat, and limited space to move around. It would be great to see this upgraded in the future. Overall, the hotel has a relaxing atmosphere and a lovely, chill vibe. If you go, ENJOY — it’s a beautiful place!

the grounds of this hotel are nice and the beach is great. free non mechanised water sports is great. the room was well appointed with nice towels and toiletries. but the food was so bad. breakfast is a tiny area where the food is left uncovered and full of flies. Birds fly amok, probably cos tables are not cleared quickly enough (had no such problem in next hotel). orange juice is concentrate. pizza is not fresh despite being told it would be. Had a hair in y omelette. there was a drains smell in room unless you had aircon on full. small low value personal item went missing from room but was returned when reported - very strange. Staff are generally lovely and the manager was very nice when we complained. Padel was great. It's a nice hotel but sadly let down by the food. Needs a rethink.

A lovely holiday with fantastic staff, but let down by departure day. Our recent stay here was genuinely lovely, largely thanks to the fantastic staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire trip. The accommodation was excellent, the food was great, and the amenities were generally very good. If you are travelling with family, the kids' club is absolutely fantastic. If you like to work out while away, be aware that the fitness/gym facility is quite poor. The space is very limited, and there is a distinct lack of weight training equipment available. Unfortunately, our day of departure really put a dampener on the trip. We asked to keep our room for a short while to wash and change before our flight, but we were refused because "new clients were arriving." Given that a large portion of the hotel's guests travel from the UK, the flight schedules meant it was highly unlikely new arrivals would be needing our specific room while we were still on the property. It gave us the distinct impression that the hotel was only interested in keeping new arrivals happy at the expense of departing guests. Eventually, we were provided with a courtesy room to wash in, but the state of it was awful. It had a bad smell and was left in a total mess, complete with empty bottles and a huge pile of wet towels left behind. We had a beautiful holiday, but the way we were treated on departure day was a very disappointing end to an otherwise great holiday
