"Upon arrival at the Desoto Inn, we unlocked the door to our room and were greeted with a room that was obviously not cleaned/prepared from the previous guest. After traveling most of the day from Arizona, this was a little upsetting to say the least. I contacted the host immediately, and he directed us to the room next door, which was clean and ready for us. I understand mistakes can happen, but the host was quick to respond and also allowed us free use of 2 bikes on the property that were normally available for an additional fee. Someone dropped the ball, but the host made it right, and we greatly enjoyed our stay at the Desoto Inn!"

"Super nice staff. Parking is $45/day but nearby. Resort fee of $40 includes beach chairs but i feel it should be optional. Roof top pool and hot tub are excellent. Rooms are clean. Great location to beach, boardwalk."

"Everything was as expected. the only issue we had is that the entry locker doesn't work properly always. we spend 10 min trying to enter the room once, luckly it worked. but everything is perfect. Best quality/price relation for sure. "

"While arriving, I had to contact the hotel 3 separate times to get my check in information because I would call, the woman on the phone would tell me she’d send the info to me, then never did. She eventually did email it to me right before our flight after I called the FOURTH time. When we got there our information (including room number and code) was taped to the door and a lady told us our room number (who didn’t work there). We were worried about parking because there was no way to pay, and nobody (in the entire 5 day trip) was ever in the office for us to pay. Someone staying at the hotel said we would be fine so we were crossing our fingers the whole time hoping we wouldn’t get towed. The room was barely cleaned, we bought our own sheets and towels because it was pretty gross and you could tell the items were super old and stained. Walls are also paper thin so if you have noisy neighbors like we did, make sure you bring some headphones. I had to help 2 separate guests that were checking in at 1pm (when they say their office is open) on how to open their door and get into their room because legitimately nobody was there doing anything for the almost week we were there. It’s right by the beach so I guess that’s a plus. Definitely the bare minimum if not less than that, so if you’re okay with that go ahead."
