Staff were also friendly and kind, despite a slight language barrier as we did not speak much korean. There are cafes and eateries in walking distance too. "What a fantastic hotel and you and beat the location next to the beach and wetlands. There are quite a few restaurants mostly seafood if you like crab but some won’t serve single diners which is something I can’t figure out. You can take the 202 or 202-1 bus opppsite Gangneung station to the hotel. It was so wonderful to walk on the beach and breathe fresh air. There were some restaurants in hotel but I found the breakfast expensive at KRW 35000 on weekends and30000 weekdays. There is a bakery next to hotel to buy some croissants. Highly recommend."
