“Spectacular resort with beautiful pool, ocean, swim up bar, and delicious restaurant. The room was very nice. The staff was awesome! My only two complaints, (1) many sudden and short power outages, and beeping appliances when power returned. That will startle you if not pre-warned. That is common in Placencia. (2) the room safe was not bolted down and had a master key that worked in our friends room as well. So we didnt use the safe. Minor issues. The place was gorgeous and fun!”

“The property generally had a cool atmosphere. I was there to attend a conference and my cabin had no closet space, hangers and iron. I was supplied with iron and hangers on request but had to find a way of hanging my clothes. I found that very off-putting. ”

“Beautiful ocean views and location like no other. The rooms were ok. The food choices were ok, but need improvement. It was hard to get a pizza from the pizza oven resturant on site - it was either incredibly long wait times or closed too early in the evening. Overall, the prices were steep and, though a very nice facility, it was not a great value.”
