"My friends and I stayed here for a night and had bed bug bites the next day. We were sleeping on the same bunk bed top and bottom and both gotten bedbug bites. We had our suitcase underneath the bunk bed and we knew the luggage were ruined. This added huge amount of inconvenience and trouble trip."

"The name of the hotel was quite misleading. I had envisioned a cozy farmhouse setting with cows and milk buckets. Don’t get me wrong, I still appreciate the name! What impressed me most was the exceptional soundproofing of the room. From the outside, it seemed like a regular room, but inside, it was completely silent. Our room was conveniently located right in front of the cafeteria entrance. I woke up at 9 am and spent about 20 minutes getting ready before heading out. Initially, I assumed that the hotel didn’t provide breakfast or that we were the only non-empty room. However, my assumptions were completely wrong as soon as I opened the door. The dining room was not crowded, but there were still at least four or five groups of people enjoying their meals. There was even music playing from the check-in area, but we didn’t hear a single note inside our room. Looking out the window, we could see the horses grazing on the farm on the side. The breakfast food appeared plain, but I thoroughly enjoyed my slice of toast with Nutella. It struck me then that I was missing the flavors of non-Nordic cuisine."

"This hotel is conveniently located and very clean with convenient parking and friendly staff. We stayed in the #4 building, and our request for a ground floor room was accommodated. The breakfast is on the second floor of the hotel and there is no lift. Normally takeaway breakfast has an additional fee, but given that one person in our party cannot walk up stairs they allowed us to take away breakfast for no additional fee. The breakfast food included hot options like eggs and bacon as well as cold cuts, cheese, veggies, fruit, and breads. The upstairs breakfast room is very nice. The restaurant is a nice looking space as well, and very busy at dinner time. The takeaway pizza we had was very good. The price was similar to other pizzas in Iceland. The lobby has a cozy vibe and I enjoyed spending a little time there. There is a neighborhood cat who likes to visit the lobby, but if you are allergic they will put her outside. She was very calm and didn't seem to want to bother people, she just likes the atmosphere of the lobby I think."
