Lovely way to start our holiday in Australia. Jan and Greg were so welcoming and provided lots of information about the surrounding area including dinner recommendations which were spot on. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast hamper each morning was excellent. The beaches around Jervis Bay are really spectacular and this is a great place to stay to explore the area.

Hi Deborah and Graham. Thank you for your review. Hope you had a safe trip home and enjoyed Dubai. As you will recall there were some ants in the apartment that you were allotted. This was after we had had over 300mm of rain a couple of days before and in a bush setting it is not unusual for ants to seek a dry place. As we could tell that you were upset over a few ants we immediately moved you to an adjoining apartment. We acknowledge that we did not give that a last minute dust and sweep as we would normally do before a check in as you were already there and anxious to get your clothes washed. If something was not to your liking we would have fixed that straight away but you made no mention of it in your 4 days there. Regards. Greg

Beautiful B&B
Jan and Greg were such great hosts! Made us feel like we were going to our Grandparents. They're super friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The property itself was very cosy and just what we needed as a couple on a weekend trip. The bed was comfy and the property was clean. We would definitely stay again.

Nice getaway
Nice to find an adult's only get away not far from Canberra. Private and quiet location and very accommodating hosts.

Perfect break
The property has an amazing location. It also has fantastic amenities and facilities, only beaten by the amazing hosts Jan and Greg, who go out of their way to make a stay here perfect. I would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend others do also.

Lovely spot, comfortable and well equipped rooms, charming hosts, not far from one of my favourite restaurants in Huskisson (Kanpai) and if you book direct you get the room cheaper.

Fantastisk vistelse
Mycket treviga och bemötande värdpar och hjälpsamma. Stor trädgård att utnyttja med egen grill. Frukosten var mycket fräsch och innehållsrik. Vi hade många trevliga grannar som tex kängurur,kokkaburror, papegojor... Läget är läckert vid vattnet.Vi kan verkligen rekommendera detta ställe ni blir inte besvikna.

Ultra modern Apartment
Cheerfull greeting from our hosts Jan and Greg. Jan gave us a full description of the facilities and the areas highlights. Not having visited the area before we were surprised with what it had to offer. Beautiful beaches, beautiful scenery, great eateries and plenty of choice for those into adventure sports. We were there to relax and explore the area and managed both with ease.

Fantastic spot with great views.
The hosts, Jan and Greg, were very welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely and well presented. The accomodation was close to the beach and had great views.

Private and well thought out accommodation
A private, comfortable space to enjoy the beautiful and natural landscape. Every conceivable want was catered for and our host Greg was warm and friendly. We would definitely return!

Amazing place above the lake
What an amazing B&B. Peter & Jan the hosts were lovely. The rooms are well designed, spacious and private. The gardens are well kept and there are lots of places to sit and enjoy the view and mingle with the other guests if you feel like it.

Best ever B & B by far we've ever stayed in!
This was without doubt the best place we stayed on our trip (Dubai, Singapore, New Zealand & Australia) & we were so pleased to spend our last 3 days with Greg & Jan. Their apartments is superb, made even more special by the welcome from the kangaroos! Every possible facility has been taken care off from dressing gowns, cooler box, kayaks, BBQ etc. The breakfast is superb especially the home made bread. Huge thanks for making the end of an amazing vactation just perfect!

Relaxing Getaway
Our little getaway was everything we wanted and more! Couldnt fault the amazing efforts of owners Greg and Jan who were so lovely and accommodating and really go above and beyond. This place is right on the water and so modern and beautiful. We made use of our private bbq one night and took up Greg's suggestion of the 4km walk and dolphin tour. Even got a discount because of him. HIGHLY recommend this place and we'll definitely be back!!!

Perfect hidden retreat
The B&B had everything you could need for a little getaway! 15 minutes from beaches and a large shopping centre. Extremely clean and spacious! Will definitely be back!

A great deal of care is taken by the owners to ensure you have a great stay...homemade breads, fresh fruit for breakfast. So much to do around the area...we'll be back !

Perfect getaway.
We really enjoy our time at By The Beach B&B. The location is amazing. It's right on the bay so there is a lot of options for water activities or walks alone the water edge. The surrounding is so calm and peaceful but not to far from all the major tourist attractions in Jervis Bay. The owners Jan and Greg are very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the areas.

Fantastic position and aspect in luxury accommodation with welcoming owners. Highlights were: - Afternoon tea on deckchairs on patio watching sunset across the Bay - Fully appointed room with kitchenette, generous breakfast, and shower that has private garden aspect - Easy drive to Bannisters in Mollymook ( 45 minutes) - Birdlife in garden and surrounding bush on Point ( including nesting Crimson Rosellas) - Access to walks around Bay in either direction - Easy drive to key Jervis Bay highlights such as Hyams Beach, Huskisson, Greenpatch and Murrrays Beach - Attentive and helpful hosts

beautiful room with comfy beds
Beautiful room and wonderfully comfortable bed. Disappointed that view of water was not as it looked in picture, and breakfast was included but is delivered to your room uncooked and you have to cook it yourself!

Well equipped with all the little extras! Clean, great location (2 minutes walk to a lovely open area Palm beach) So often with kitchen facilities you are lucky to find half a scouring pad and some salt and pepper. Everything has been considered. Even a good quality Weber BBQ. Friendly, helpful and discreet staff, and a super base for exploring Jervis Bay. Great value and highly recommended.
