I have been staying at this hotel regularly (business travel) for a few years. More recently the hotel has been/ still is being refurbished.
Noise is not an issue btw, but the standard of rooms has increased dramatically.
Bathrooms are now much better and many rooms have an outside seating area.
There are many different types of rooms within the hotel so be careful to choose the best one for you.
The spa facilities are a great way to relax. You can swim outside in water temperatures of 35 degrees, float on the natural salt spa and take advantage of the powerful jets to help ease muscle tension. The spa pool, which is round and quite big has a fast current that flows around the outside. Grab a float and just let it take you round and round. Such fun. Sun loungers for outside in the summer.
Breakfast are very good, the staff in the breakfast room are attentive to your needs. There is now outside seating too, weather permitting, so you can breakfast overlooking the river.
Hotel has a bar for food and drinks as well as a good restaurant.
Staff very nice.
