Great boutique hotel with excellent service
My partner and I stayed at Aquarooms for 3 nights and were really impressed by the quality of both the space and the hospitality of the hosts. With just 3 rooms, it’s a small boutique hotel with a personal touch. Our room had both a hot tub (in the bedroom) and a good shower, as well as a comfortable bed, a small balcony facing out onto the street, and cool, stylish art and furniture, much of it custom made or acquired for the specific room. The location was central and extremely convenient— tons of restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, and sights nearby. Erica and Francesco were both incredibly helpful and all-around good people who went above and beyond in every way and were fun to talk to. We loved both Palermo and Aquarooms and would not hesitate to come back to both!

Erica and Francesco were amazing hosts. They were there to meet us, made us caffè, tell us the best spots to go, and even ordered us a taxi when we left. The building they renovated themselves is absolutley stunning. Our room was decorated with local Palmero art, had an awesome shower, and my wife loved the seperate soaking tub. You can tell they put a lot of hard work and thought into it. Everything is within walking distance. My only regret is we didnt stay longer, but we will be back!

Aquarooms
Francesco and Erica were wonderfully friendly and helpful. They gave us many good tips and obviously are enthusiastic about their city. The accomodations are quaint and comfortable though a bit noisy as the room faces Via Roma.

Aquarooms heeft prachtige en schone kamers, ook het personeel was ontzettend behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was bij de meest aardige bakker om de hoek. De kamer lag aan een drukke straat, maar ik zelf had daar geen problemen mee.

Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo dono das acomodações, sempre simpático e solícito. No entanto, o quarto que nos foi destinado foi completamente diferente do que o visto e escolhido pelas fotos (aliás, o nosso quarto NÃO aparece nas fotos do HOTEIS.COM), sendo, inclusive, menor que o que contratamos. As áreas comuns, embora limpas, não tem ar condicionado, o que dificulta/impede a sua utilização no verão siciliano. Assim, ter uma geladeira no quarto daria um conforto maior.

Mitten drin!
Nette Unterkunft mitten im Trubel. Wer ein Mietauto hat, sollte sich bewusst sein, dass nur am Wochenende Autos von Nichtanwohner in die Stadt gelassen werden. Außerdem ist das Parkplatzangebot sehr gering. Wir standen 2 Tage in einer Seitenstraße. (Man kann sich aber auch mit der Unterkunft in Verbindung setzen um einen Parkplatz zu reservieren).

Hidden Gem
This was a beautiful hidden gem perfectly located in the historic old town. The room was huge with a beautiful jacuzzi bath tub in it. Loved our stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Vi boede på aquarooms i 2 nætter i juli og ac’en i rummer kunne ikke køle rummet ned til en behagelig sovetemperatur. For en gang skyld synes jeg at billederne på hotels.com får stedet til at fremstå bedre end det er, prisen er for høj ift. Siciliansk niveau. Morgenmaden får man på en cafe i nærheden og det er super.

Kære kunde, hvis vi havde rapporteret problemet med klimaanlægget, kunne vi gribe ind og løse det med det samme. Vores er en helt ny struktur. Jeg bekræfter at klimaanlægget virker, det var nok at vælge den kolde funktion i stedet for affugteren. Priserne på vores struktur er priserne reguleret af de lokale myndigheder, der regulerer og overvåger de misbrugte aktiviteter, som gør turisterne overbeviste om, at Sicilien er en økonomisk destination. Vi er en juridisk anerkendt struktur, at vi betaler skat, og at vi ikke ønsker at tilhøre det svære marked for misbrugere til lave priser. Sicilien er ikke et billigt sted at rejse, og det er bare et sted, hvor ærlige mennesker gør et meget hårdt arbejde for at aflyse visse formodninger for evigt. Tak og vi ses snart.

Hotel sehr hellhörig und extremer Straßenlärm, nur für Kurzurlauber geeignet. Frühstück in einer schönen Bäckerei jedoch nicht herkömmlich. Wer kein Kuchen oder Pizza zum Frühstück mag sollte ohne Frühstück buchen.

Hébergement de qualité, très propre, joliment décoré. L'accueil a été très agréable, Francesco et Erica sont très disponibles. Idéalement situé pour visiter le centre ville à pied. Le seul bémol : isolation sonore vis à vis de l'avenue passante tout proche.

Centrally located, comfortable hotel
I stayed 4 nights at the hotel while on a tourist visit. The hotel was a little difficult to find as the entrance is not on the main road so it's advised to come with a working SIM card and you can't buy one at the airport in Palermo. It is centrally located almost next to Plazza Pretoria/Santa Maria del Ammiraglio church. From there it is only about a 10-15 minute walk to Plazza Normanni and most of the main attractions are located between there. The room was in good condition and kept clean and the heat was activated during the cold nights. It's a little weird having the jacuzzi in the sleeping area and it was a bit slow to fill. However the water was nice and gets very hot. Breakfast is provided despite what some others have posted, however not in the hotel. You will get a ticket for each day for the "Touring Cafe" which is a very nice cafe and also recommended by LP. However the ticket is valid for only certain items and that breakfast is probably worth about 5 Euros. So if you want to eat at different places or think it is cheaper to purchase yourself then don't go with the breakfast. The rooms are all a part of an apartment and there is a small kitchen with refrigerator and microwave but no working stove top. Although the place was pretty quiet when I was there the door was a bit thin so you can easily hear into the main hall. Also the hotel faces the main road so the street noise especially the cars is a bit load so I wouldn't recommend this place for light sleepers.

This is a great place to stay. The owner was lovely and very helpful - lots of imformation on sites and restaurants. The location is great and the hotel was clean. I would highly recommend the Aquarooms for a stay in Palermo.

Outstanding location, very nice and clean rooms. Really appreciate the kitchen and the hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Not so good expierence in Palermo
After our arrival they asked us after we payed the room in advance, a suite with jacuzzi bath tube, extra 30 Euros to use the jacuzzi in our prepaid suite, as well they charged 15 Euros for a small dog for extra cleaning

Dear customer, As in all bb of the world payment is anticipated. As can be seen from all the sites where we are, the hot tub service is extra charge and is also written on booking. As for the little dog, you did not tell us your need in advance. Anyway, whenever we get permission to get a dog in the wake we ask for a little extra cost because we provide a more thorough cleaning of the room. Unfortunately, not everyone loves smells and hairs leaving the dogs.
