No GRACE given
This trip was accidentally booked to Bermuda and we are visiting the Bahamas. I am still waiting to see if they will issue a refund. It's a shame that I am being penalized for an error made unknowingly. We never used their accommodations so it's pretty upsetting that I'd have to pay almost $500 for an unoccupied room.

Absolutely incredible place! The water is breathtaking. The staff is responsive and very sweet. Great food. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a relaxing gorgeous get away.

This place was a remote paradise! Great service too. Only 2 critiques: the food is just ok. The no see ums will bite you to pieces at sunrise and sunset. I hate Deet but that and coming inside are your best options.

Beautiful and pristine location with super friendly and nice staff made this a superb experience. Loved the fact that even at what seemed to be a peak season, the number of people was minimum giving at times the impression that you had the place for your family only. We will definitely return.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent. Wonderful excursions. Hard to believe settings like this still exist. Beautiful beach and totally uncrowded.

We loved the secluded nature of this resort. It was rare to see more than 10-15 people on the beach or in the water at any given time, and plenty of hours when we had the beach to ourselves. Activities like kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and biking were free, with complimentary rental of helmets, paddles, life vests, and snorkel masks/fins. There were other tours and activities available for a fee. What you can't see from the photos is the excellent snorkeling available and the unparalleled glimpse you'll get of the Milky Way each night. I count both experiences among the best of my life. Our villa was spacious, comfortable, and everything (from furnishings to fixtures) looked like new. We enjoyed cooking in our villa kitchen, making our own frosty beverages, and watching Netflix/Amazon Prime Video each night. The resort makes their own drinking water, and there are small markets and cafes on the island if you want to eat in your villa/bungalow or away from the resort. While we were there, many fish/seafood dishes on the menu were not available, but this is typical on islands that depend on local catches and imported goods. Every dish we enjoyed was delicious and well-made. For those who are prone to mosquito bites (early in the morning and sunset/night), the resort provides insect repellent.

Cape Santa Maria Resort is simply paradise. The property is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The beach and water are the best we've ever seen.

Wow was the first word followed by simple disbelief when so first saw the beach. The photos do not even do it justice. The hotel itself is simple, but each room features beach views and when the beach is that stunning you don't need much else. The hotel also offers many activities and tours. It is perfect for those who are looking for a low key, relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of Nassau. Lastly, the staff were just incredible and we shared many laughs. A home away from home. We will be back.

The place to be
Excellent emplacement sur l’une des plus belles plages de l’île. Très bonne nourriture. Prenez un happy hour sur la terrasse du bar face au coucher de soleil. Gentillesse des serveuses. Très grand bungalow avec salon extérieur. A ne pas manqué escapade en bateau à Sandy cay.

first the good stuff: amazing views, perfect beaches, intimate vibes, friendly other guests after that: service is below average, attitude from the waiters. villas are clean but could use an upgrade. biggest issue is the food. there are no other restaurants on the island so you will be captive to a limited menu with very high prices (plus mandatory 15% tip and 12% vat). everything is over cooked (i.e. well done) presumably because it's not fresh

The beach is gorgeous with the soft white sand and clear turquoise water. Resort is very quiet and peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are kayaks and paddle boards as well as basic bicycles for use. If you need shopping and night life this is not the place. Wi-Fi was very limited. Snorkeling was disappointing as access is based on the winds and not much to the reef.

Sleeping steps from the beach, in a beautiful, cool bungalow, the only challenge was choosing between the activities. Kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, and sightseeing all try to temp you away from simply walking on snow white sand and swimming in crystal blue waters.

Stunning beach/water
The beach and water are amazing. Cottages are a little dated but very comfy with a great screened porch. Food was very good and everyone very nice. Service was spotty in that orders were not always correct and pace was a bit slow at times. Like more than typical carribean slow. Being a bit proactive in ordering helps a lot. Would definitely go back.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Cape. So sorry about the weather during your stay! The entire continent was engulfed in a few weeks of irregular weather and temperatures dipped down to about 65 degrees at the Cape. Very unusual - the average year-round temperature of Long Island is mid-80s year-round. All of the beds in the bungalows have been replaced within the last year - all are Serta Emerald Plus beds - the same brand utilized by many of the worlds top hotel companies. I understand that mattress preferances can be very personal and I am sorry that these particular beds were not to your liking. Great Place! Great Views! Understand the staff
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had a blast! The room was great and the beach was perfect. Lots of activities could be done. We are adventurous and didn't do guided tours. We explored on our own and did a over 6 mile Kayak to monument there. Overall we had a great time. I would say that we were disappointed at the staff at first. The staff seemed very displeased with the people staying here. As we dug deeper into why with the great bartenders they had there (Kelly and Jay) we realized that the added gratuity to all dinners etc was split between EVERY WORKER on the site. That meant housekeeping, gardeners etc. Which we didn't think that was fair at all. If you stay here be sure to tip the waitresses and bartenders more. We did and we had a great time with crew. They took care of me and my wife and were very pleasant. Take time to get to know them. We liked the management at first but we kind of saw through their "fakeness". Several times my wife and we would talking to them and they just plain ignored questions that we asked. Rating the management on a scale of 1 to 5, we would give them a 2.5. This is a family friendly place and we made several friends. We are from Texas and almost everyone there we met were from Texas. A couple from France stayed next to us. We DID NOT care for them. You will meet a lot of foreigners here. As for Local stuff to do Deans Blue Hole is a must Plan to snack or go grocery shopping as their menu is super expensive!

The only place in the world where we came back.
The beach is the best we have ever seen anywhere. The resort itself is excellent with very nice staff. Ak to náhodou bude čítať niekto zo Slovenska.. Ľudia ak je pri výbere letnej dovolenky pre vás rozhodujúca pláž a more, choďte na toto miesto. Nikde na svete sme nevideli takú krásnu zátoku.
