Confusing checkin
The check was at a different hotel, but the email used a different hotel name than Google or other maps show and did not provide directions, just the comment "a short walking distance". It would be helpful to list all names the hotel goes by and to give specific address instructions for check in.

Beautiful area and everything is within walking distance. Plenty of options for food or a relaxing drink. You can walk over to the beach and swim. Breakfast was free and at the neighboring hotel. Excellent quality food and many options. Definitely not a traditional American continental breakfast.

Hôtel très bien situé, plein "centre ville", propre et avec un excellent petit déjeuner (inclus). Par contre, les chambres de 4 sont vraiment petites (pour 4), et les 2 qui dormiront dans le canapé seront vraiment punis....

Pas mal mais pas insonorisé et petit dej ailleurs.
Petit hôtel en 2 eme ligne par rapport au port, à côté du Netto. Chambre rénovée spacieuse avec salon et terrasse commune . Les points négatifs: isolation phonique par rapport à l’extérieur inexistante, les clefs et le petit dej sont à prendre à l’hôtel isafjordur a 250m. Arrivés un peu plus tôt, on est passés voir si la chambre était prête , la rectionniste n’a même pas vérifié et nous a sèchement dit de revenir à 15h… pas très sympa. Sinon petit dej très bien.

Receivd e-mail that check in would be at another hotel owned by property, no address. Note on hotel door also advised of this, hotel 250 meters away. Again no address, no map advising where to go. I advised woman I checked in with after figuring out where to go; she stated managment aware, had done nothing, she would post a map. I do not know if this was done??

有兩棟，注意他安排哪一棟
他有兩個館，早餐在Check in那棟，但卻安排我們在老舊的二館，導致寒冷的雨天一早起床要淋雨走半條街到另一棟吃早餐。 6066/晚我覺得非常不配他的價格。 我們這棟幾乎都是亞洲臉孔，不知道是不是故意的？

Hello Yenan, We opperate two hotels, one guesthouse and one hostel. On hotels.com we list them as individual hotels and not together. You booked online at Hotel Horn and got a room there. We did not move you from one place to other place. We offer our breakfast at Hotel Torg (150m) from Hotel Horn because there we have our restaurant and we can give much better and more diverse breakfast. Hope your stay in Iceland will be good. I have booked 5 nights stay in this hotel. I have requested to change a better view room since I need to stay few nights but was rejected. The room they assigned, the air ventilation not good and felt stuffy. The location of this hotel right in the middle of town. You can easy get your food n grocery by walking distance.

Nothing fancy, awesome staff
Hotel Isafjordur is the main hotel with a sister hotel, Hotel Isafjordur Horn down the street (3 min walk). I stayed in Hotel Horn which has no reception desk and no restaurant of its own. That ended up being fine because the front desk staff at the main hotel was helpful, especially when my flight out was cancelled two days in a row due to winter weather (March 2022) and they helped me extend my stay. The receptionist also helped give me information on road conditions. Due to COVID precautions, they are not serving breakfast but give you a voucher for a friendly bakery 1 block away. My room was basic but spacious, clean and quiet. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The housekeeping staff was wonderful and kept asking me what I needed whenever I saw them. Two minor down sides--I could only find one TV channel in English (BBC) and there is no microwave in the room. I would stay here again!

Hotel Horn has no reception, and is serviced by a hotel just a block away. Free parking is ample. The rooms were compact by American standards, but very clean and had TVs. The continental breakfast contains the typical options, but this was the only hotel I stayed at where I had pancakes and saw nutella (woo). Would recommend if you're driving out to the Westfjords.

Great hotel, right downtown and easy to walk anywhere you need once you've settled in. We should have stayed 2 nights as this is a great area to explore.

The view was beautiful. It's a little odd to have to check-in and eat breakfast at the nearby hotel but the staff is great and explains everything. Breakfast was good. A minor problem I found was that the internet became unstable several times while I was at a virtual meeting as well as while I was doing other things on computer. This was an annoyance. Everything else was fine though.

Felt like an aparthotel but comfortable
Rooms were simply furnished and comfortable with nice bathroom but felt like aparthotel despite being priced like a nice hotel. Note you check-in at sister hotel (Hótel Ísafjörður) a few blocks away where the breakfast (very good) is also served. Next time would stay in Hótel Ísafjörður or another property instead.
