The property itself is gorgeous with a beautiful garden situated on the river. The breakfasts were scrumptious. Deirdre & Fergus are amazing hosts. It was an excellent experience.

Hiking trip

I stayed for two nights. It was my base for a hiking weekend It was my second time to stay Delia and Fergus are great hosts and the breakfast were hearty and provided loads of fuel for a big day on the Reeks It’s only a 10 minute walk into town

Hidden Treasure

The Grove Lodge is hands down the most beautiful place we have stayed on our trip. I would honestly come all the way back to Ireland just to spend a few days here. The rooms were clean and cozy with a beautiful view of the river and mountains. Breakfast was spectacular and they do all of their own baking on the premises. The spread was unlike anything we've seen at other B&B's. Fergus and Delia were great hosts and took the time to talk to everyone individually about their upcoming travel day giving helpful tips and tricks about where to go. Killlorglin had a surprisingly great dining scene and some really neat local pubs as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Grove Lodge. Perfect located for all our sightseeing trips to Dingle, Ring of Kerry and Killarney National Park. Breakfast was served in a calm and cosy room. Hot breakfast was Made fresh from für kitchen - simply delicious. Thank you vor your great hospitality.

Nettes B&B bis auf die Fernbedienung des TVs war alles sehr sauber. Der Zeitraum zum Einchecken war von 17 bis 19 Uhr eher begrenzt - zudem musste telefonisch nachgefragt werden weil beim Klingeln niemand geöffnet hat. Das Frühstück war hervorragend!

This is the best B & B we’ve stayed in for a long time. The room was beautifully presented, the grounds on the edge of a river are wonderful, the breakfast was sensational, and to top it off, the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful.

Best breakfast on our trip!!

Even if website says breakfast is included it isn't ! Best breakfast in Ireland! So reserve the room directly with the B&B (and get breakfast included) or when reserving via hotel.com request no breakfast and pay when you have enjoyed the huge selection of morning treats! Check in only 5-7pm!! Lovely couple!

Lovely weekend

Un superbe cottage avec un jardin magnifique et des gens adorables. Petit déjeuner top avec des plats cuisinés sur commande. Seul bémol la route à proximité mais c'est aussi ce qui le rend pratique. Attention aux réservations le site indique "petit déjeuner gratuit" alors que ce n'est pas le cas. En constatant la situation le propriétaire ne nous les a pas fait payés ce qui était particulièrement gentil. Le cottage est décoré avec goût. Profitez des photos prises par le propriétaire c'est à couper le souffle ! Superbe !!!

The location was a bit difficult to find, a sign as you exit the street would be helpful. The room was very clean, the location was good, the breakfast was delicious and we were made to feel very welcomed by the owner.

Loved the location so close to the Dingle Peninsula. And right on the river with a lovely garden. The breakfasts were delicious. We received excellent local recommendations for dinners and things to do. Would highly recommend this location.

Man muss es mögen...eher eine Pension...

Man muss es mögen, dass die Gastgeber permanent um einen rum sind. In dem kleinen Frühstücksraum unterhalten sich die anderen, meist englischen Gäste mit den Gastgebern und dadurch ist es sehr laut gewesen. Das Zimmer ist ebenerdig gewesen, man konnte nachts also nur ein kleines Fenster öffnen. Das Bett war sehr alt, aus Holz und hatte eine schlechte Matratze. Wie in Irland üblich war es nur 1,20m breit und hatte eine Decke. Die Dusche/Badewanne hatte nur einen Duschvorhänge und dieser war so angebracht, dass es nicht möglich war zu duschen, ohne dass er am Körper klebt. Also überflutet man das Badezimmer ohne Vorhang.

Wonderful Location to explore the Ring of Kerry

We stayed here for three nights while adventuring around the Ring of Kerry and it was an excellent choice. Wonderful location right on the river with a view of the mountains. Very peaceful. The owners are absolutely lovely and accommodating in every way. We were so incredibly happy with our stay. The upkeep of the grounds is wonderful full of flowers and lush plants. They also have tables set up down by the river to enjoy an evening beverage - or morning coffee/tea. BnB features- Breakfast: DEFINITELY get it with your booking you will not be disappointed. An amazing selection of breads, cheeses, pastries, fruits and a full hot breakfast menu to choose from. I had the salmon option and my husband enjoyed the delicious pancakes perfect portions to get the day started. Locations: Walking distance to the downtown area. A quick drive to Killarney for adventuring AND an easy 45 min drive (without traffic) to the southern area of the peninsula. And we ended up not making it but a reasonable drive over to the Dingle peninsula as well. The local town is tiny cute and full of excellent restaurants to choose from. PS For Indian cuisine try - (Sethu) it was probably the best we have ever had.

Beautiful B&B

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while we explored the Ring of Kerry and Killarney National Park. The B&B was beautiful, had a nice view, friendly staff, and a very comfortable room. Everything was clean and homey. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The area around is very beautiful. It's a great place to start the Ring of Kerry from. Killorglin itself isn't the most amazing of towns, but we did find a charming restaurant for dinner and enjoyed our visit. The Grove Lodge is a bit outside the town which we liked. The only downside was that they ran out of hot water in the showers one night--must've been busy. But I got a nice hot bath the next day so no harm done. All told a wonderful place to stay! One of our favorites.

Sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft, liebevoll angelegt und sehr gepflegt. Sehr nette Gastgeber mit guten Ausflugstipps. Sehr tolles Frühstück-/ bzw. Büfett. Sehr empfehlenswert, super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr ruhige Lage am Fluss in Ortsnähe.

Viaggio in Irlanda con la famiglia in auto. Questo luogo è veramente un incanto. Una struttura dal sapore antico, pulita, ordinata, nel verde e nei colori dei fiori. Lovely lodge right next to the town.

We stayed in Grove Lodge during Puck Fair. While the accommodation and surroundings are lovely we were given the wrong keys for the front door which only became apparent during the middle of the night. Unfortunately having to stay outside for two hours until another person came along to let me in put a downer on our experience here but overall it was a nice place to stay and very close to the town. I suggest testing the keys before you head out to experience your surroundings!

My favorite place.

This was my favorite place that we stayed during our 6 day tour of Ireland. Beautiful location, wonderful host and hostess, delicious breakfast, and clean rooms. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

FABULEUX !!!

Formidable ! Quoique quelque peu excentré, ce B&B était le meilleur de notre séjour irlandais. L’accueil très chaleureux, la très grande chambre, la grande salle de bain, le petit déjeuner copieux très très varié (excellente salade de fruits frais, entre autres...), présenté avec soin, tout était parfait ! Très jolie déco intérieure aménagée avec beaucoup de goût également et extérieur sympathique. Je recommande chaudement cet établissement ! Notre seul regret a été de n'y avoir passé qu'une nuit :-(
